Hi there, I hope you don’t mind me asking this but, how do we ever know who we are?x
Hi Chris! We can start to know who we are by asking the question “Who am I?”, pay attention, notice, feel and rest in the question. Secondly, you can go within and sit in stillness and watch as thoughts arise and fall back into nothingness, notice as feelings come and go, explore sensations that appear and disappear. We can notice the space between breaths and watch as they expand and contract. Simply be still and watch; naturally be silent and turn your focus from the external world to the internal; be present with all that is. Ask the question into the still pond of your heart and let the question drop like a pebble to the bottom… Be still and know…..The question can never be answered with the intellect or the mind; go deeper….

Well, this is something I am definitely going to try, I’ve tried meditating before but my mind always wondered, I do know that I didn’t persist enough with it though. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my message.
