Life is Simple: Simply Simplify and Be Who You Already Are!

We have been sold a bill of goods. We have been told we have to struggle to get ahead and where there is no pain, there is no gain. But what if we have merely forgotten the truth that we are already whole and complete? What if what we are searching for we already are? What if what we are seeking is what we are seeking with? What if we are already everything we are looking for?

St Augustine said God is a circle whose centre is everywhere and its circumference is nowhere. That means that there is nowhere where God isn’t. That means that you are also a part of God. That means there is no separation between you and God. That means that there is nowhere within your own body that is not also God. We are totally made up of God!

The only difference between God and human beings is that God created human beings, not the other way around! Human beings have a tendency to worship the creation rather than the creator. There is a tendency to worship anything that seems greater than yourself. Most do not reach high enough in consciousness or deep enough within to find the Source of their being. The result is living in a tiny box, restricted and limited, when we really are great, vast, divine beings who are connected to an even greater, infinite, unlimited, unimaginable Source!

Think how simple life would be if we claimed our true identity. We are created in the image and likeness of God. This is truly amazing yet so often ignored or dismissed. Why are we not jumping up and down, dancing in the streets, exploring the consequences, and reaping the benefits of this awe-inspiring truth? The only explanation for ignoring the most incredible, fascinating detail about the human race, our divinity must be a) ignorance b) mistaken beliefs passed down from generation to generation c) the shadow side of religion that wants to control and keep power away from the masses d) ego run amuck e) amnesia or f) the collective trance consciousness. It is impossible to see something beyond your present level of consciousness. Therefore, unless you meditate, or choose to engage in other spiritual practices, you never allow yourself to expand to higher, deeper levels of consciousness and experience the truth of all that you already are!

The solution is to wipe the old slate clean, simplify, let go of who you thought you were, and claim your true identity! Do a spring cleaning for your mind. Imagine your life as a white board. Picture yourself erasing everything you have written on the board, or have allowed others to write on your board, including society, religion, parents, teachers, or traditional authorities. Write in big bold letters: I Am Created In the Image and Likeness of God, I Am One With God, I Am Whole, Holy, and Healthy, My Body Is The Vessel of the Holy Spirit, I Am Radiant, Luminous, And Full Of Vitality, [fill in the blank!]. Listen only to the One True Authority: the Spirit of God within your own sacred heart. Stop listening to all the other “so-called” authorities and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth.

Let go of all the beliefs, ideas, thoughts, habits, labels, roles, ways you define yourself, ways that others define you, and go to your roots. The root identity is: you are divine and I am divine and we are gods just like Jesus said we were. “Ye are gods, sons [daughters] of the Most High all of you” (John 10:34, Psalm 82:6). You are one with God: no separation, no chasm, and no difference (except God is the Creator). You can do everything Jesus did and even greater things because the man Jesus died and when he ascended as Christ, he sent the Holy Spirit to empower every person who will accept and receive the gift. In other terms, Jesus brought the higher God-consciousness into the world and now everyone is able to raise their consciousness to the heights of Jesus.

Life is simple: let go of the lies of the world/negative ego and accept the truth! Life is simple: you are a powerful being with the same mind of God. Choose to create what you want, not what you don’t want. Life is simple: stop seeking and be what you already are. You don’t need to seek love, you are love. Be love! Seek the kingdom of God and all these things will be yours as well (Matthew 6:33). Life is simple: stop going to the past with your mind, and you will eliminate regret; stop going into the future with your mind, and you will eliminate worry and anxiety; stay in the present moment, aware of your true identity and you will eliminate fear.

Life is full of energy, activity, events, and experiences, but how you interpret them is the only determinant whether you enjoy life or suffer. It has been said that heaven or hell are only one thought away! We can choose our thoughts and we can raise our level of perception to the mind of Christ. Your level of consciousness and the perceptions and meanings you choose, determine your responses. Your perception of life, for you or against you, determines if you are happy or miserable. “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light; but if your eye is not sound, your whole body will be full of darkness” (Matthew 6:22). Perception is everything! Whether your life is full of light, joy, peace, and love is determined by your perception, perspective, meaning, and interpretation of the experiences and events in your life. The sun is always shining and present even though a cloud has temporarily blocked the light. If you focus on the light, the clouds can come and go without affecting your peace of mind.

Simplify your life by focusing on the One thing! Actually it is not a thing at all; it is no-thing! There is merely awareness and if you let the scales fall from your eyes you will begin to see clearly that there is only One and I am also that. We all share the One consciousness and merely express it in a myriad of ways. Nothing is inherently bad or good. It just is what it is, and is interpreted in an infinite number of ways. Just because it is interpreted in unlimited ways does not change the underlying essence. Go to the root and be that. Enjoy, find your passion, leave what doesn’t resonate with you, delight, explore, be curious, wonder, reveal, discover, and revel in life. Root in the truth that you are all Christs in the world. Jesus said we could do everything he did and even greater things. Accept the truth and run with it!

We are made in the image and likeness of God. Be it! Stop playing small. Take a leap into the unknown! Dare to be all that you are created to be! We are to be humble before our Maker, but we can start to live in awe of one another. Help each other remember. Lift each other up to the heights where everything exists in potential. Re-member! Call back all of your energy, power, and being to your body. Remember, empower, enliven, and act. You cannot fail if you remember your Creator, and remember who you are in relationship to your Maker.

Take back the power you have given to others: the government, religions, authorities, the economy, educational system, those you put above yourself, and those you put below yourself. We are all one and all made in the likeness of God. Therefore, use your unique manifestation of the One for the highest good of all. Be yourself, everyone else is taken! Be the change you want to see in the world. Be the one you have been waiting for. Be the second coming of Christ in your life and world. When everyone claims their true identity and inheritance, when everyone rises to their Christed self, the world will change, and the new heaven on earth will be visible for all to see.
