Love Versus True Love

Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.

What is love? How can you tell if it is real, lasting, fulfillment of our dreams or the beginning of a nightmare leaving scars on our heart? Love, as it is commonly referred to on earth is not true love. Rather, it often refers to a sentiment only, an uplifting feeling or a juicy desire as eternal as a mist in the presence of the full noonday sun! Love is portrayed in movies in a hollywood, unreal, fantasy version. If we live our lives with Hollywood as our guide, we will surely be misled! I hate to admit this, but in the air of full disclosure I must admit that I once bought the fantasy hook, line and sinker. I wanted the fairy tale. I desired the happy ending where the music swells and tears of joy flow. A lot of what passes for love is an imposter, masked as codependency, need or addiction. This is a figment of the ego disguised as love. Most of us are unconscious about love. We spontaneously fall in love, are lifted to the heavens, then crash and burn way too soon without recognizing what is really going on, or discovering the hidden treasure found within the death of romantic love, eros and the ego that rules the lowest expressions of love. The hidden treasure is Higher Love hidden underneath romantic love’s ashes.

The example that came to me to describe the difference between love and true love is breathing! To the uninitiated, breathing is taken for granted. In our hubris we think we know what it is. We never give it a thought because “of course “I” breathe and “my” superior, logical, rational and reasoning mind knows without a doubt what breathing is: breathe in, breathe out; a no brainer! But with the open mind, the open spiritual eye, and the enlightened eyes of the heart, we can see that breathing is the highest, most sacred, holy, spiritual practice we could ever practice. Conscious breathing, with attention and intention to Spirit, is breathing on steroids! It is a sacred ritual where we receive the Holy Breath into our being. Sacred breathing is being consciously aware that with each breath you are receiving the Holy Spirit. With your conscious, willing participation we can fill our body with higher Love, drink of the Living Water, and partake of the new bread of Life! The simple, natural act of breathing becomes a sacred, holy act of redemption, sanctification, purification, refinement, renewal, regeneration, theosis and transfiguration. Conscious, mindful breathing can change your life.

Every molecule of air is infused with Love, as is every particle or atom on the earth. It is activated by our conscious awareness; we are initiated by our willing, active participation. The recognition and conscious awareness of the invisible in the visible activates and initiates its hidden potential. Higher Love is invisible, but it can be known by seeing its effects and experiencing the Presence within our body. “Love was made manifest among us…so we might live through it” (1 John 4:9). Since the fall in consciousness on earth, it has been devoid of Love, manifested by wars, violence, terrorism, sense-less acts of inhumanity, sexual abuse, child abuse, murder, crime, injustice, death-by-stone, hangings, burning at the stake, human sacrifice, animal sacrifice, ignorance, greed, and all the seven deadly sins plus a few more. To bring the world back towards the light, Love was manifested on earth. “The love of God was made manifest among us; the Beloved sent a messenger into the world, so that we might live through love” (1 John 4:9).

Spirit gave me an image to illustrate 1 John 4:8: take 4 infinity symbols (8s) and draw them in the four directions (start by two eights in the shape of a cross and fill the other two in the empty spaces) with the center points all at one point. You get a beautiful eight-petaled blossom, with a still point in the middle. The center still point is where we are instructed to rest. We are called to rest in the center of infinite Love, abide in eternal Love and allow the toroidal pattern of Love to move and flow in our body, life and marriage. We are to rest, abide, live, move and have our being in the energy and power of Higher Love.

According to 1 Corinthians 13, love is patience and kindness. Love is not jealous, boastful, arrogant, or rude. Love doesn’t insist on its own way (ego). Love is not irritable or resentful. Higher Love does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things (it is unconditional); believes all things (believes everything is possible with God); hopes all things (sees the invisible in the visible through faith that is the evidence of the unseen); and endures all things (love is stronger than death). The most powerful energy in the universe is agape Love. It never ends; we cannot be separated from Love, it is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

“The Beloved is Love” 1 John 4:8

What is truth? Love! What is Love? Higher Love is our true reality: simple, natural, ordinary, our lowest common denominator and our highest truth which is true for all religions or spirituality. In the higher Light of pure Love, everything that is not Love dissolves, disappears, falls away or disintegrates. False religion, fundamentalist radicals, religious-based terrorism, false shepherds, false priests, antichrists, and the ego can be recognized by the lack of Love. The only true definition for evil is the absence of Love. Higher Love is the litmus test for truth. The chaff is separated from the wheat in the presence of Love; the dross is separated from gold in the presence of Love. All impurities dissolve in the Presence of Love from the unified field of God. We do not have to battle evil; we only need to clothe ourselves in Love. We do not have to battle darkness, just turn on the Light of Love! All evil or darkness is just a call for love; a disguised request to be loved. Instead of offering evil or darkness hatred and repulsion, offer it what it is secretly asking for in its dark deeds and actions: Love! All misbehavior is a disguised request for more love. Evil or darkness has never learned how to ask for its deepest heart’s desire, which is Love!

If there is any spot of separation or darkness in your life that Love is not allowed to enter, God cannot enter either. Love is the reconciler and Healer. If you hate anything or anyone; if you resent or have bitterness towards anyone, God cannot heal and make you whole. If you hate your body, or any aspect of your life, God cannot enter and make you whole. If you hate or judge another religion, or those who are different or believe in different things than you, then God is not in you and conflict, tension, stress, division, enmity, anxiety, war and hatred will continue within you and in the world. It will continue to poison you from the inside out, making you sick, tired, grumpy, unsatisfied and un-lovely, the opposite of your innermost desire of your heart to be loved by Higher, unconditional Love.

Wolves can dress themselves up in sheep’s clothing. “Even satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Cor 11:14). Do not fear, however, because if there is a lack of love the wolf becomes naked and you can see him for who is really is. The true litmus test is Love! In the Presence of Higher Love, everything that is not love will flee or dissolve!!!

What is Love? It is the highest frequency of Light that emerges out of the unified field of God. Love emerges out of uncreated Light and unmanifest creation. Love is neither created nor destroyed, it has no beginning or end, it is the alpha and the omega and it was manifested on earth in the human body of Yeshua. “If I have not love, I am nothing…I gain nothing” 1 Cor 13:2-3. Uncreated light is also Love’s hidden potential and needs our attention and intention, our willing, active participation to activate. Love needs our conscious awareness to manifest in our lives and relationships. When Love (highest frequency Light energy) moves and begins to flow, the power is activated. Love that is dormant, uncreated, hidden in potential in the core of your being is waiting in silent repose for you to wake up, observe it, and in the act of recognition or observation, bring uncreated Love into existence. Dormant Love is not activated or quickened until you awaken it with your conscious awareness or presence.

“Those who do not love abide in death” and “If you hate anyone or anything you are a murderer” (1 John 3:14-15). Love your enemies and abide in Life: abundant, prosperous, over-flowing Life! If you close your heart, Love cannot abide in you (1 John 3:17). Love is the Christ Spirit that was in Yeshua, and is in you, and in me. Our first love was the Beloved (1 John 4:10). “In this is love, not that we loved God but that She loved us” “If we love another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us” (1 John 1:12). There are many who use the word love, but there are negative intentions in the heart. “Little children, let us not love in word or speech but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). You know if there is Love in someone’s heart by their actions.

Love has been watered down and stripped of its power by making it into a sentiment or mere feeling. Real Love is the greatest power on earth capable of transforming disease to wholeness, blindness to sight, mental unrest to peace, addiction to freedom, separation to connection, and fragmentation to oneness. Love is the Light, energy and consciousness of God. God is Love, the highest frequency of Light. Love is “majestic vitality” according to Oswald Chambers. True Love is so powerful that we can only handle a sip at a time, until we increase our capacity to receive. Eckhart Tolle received a huge blast that instantly healed his suicidal depression, but left him homeless living on a park bench for three years until his body could integrate. Love purifies, refines, strips and removes everything that is not love from your body and life. David Hawkins received a huge blast of Love and was healed of a terminal disease and found that anyone in his presence also healed instantly. It was also so overwhelming that he had to close his psychiatry practice and move to the secluded woods to integrate. Everyone who was receptive in Yeshua’s presence also healed and were made whole. In the Presence of Love everything is healed and made whole.

True Love from the Source is all we need to heal and become whole and happy. However, since humans have separated themselves for so long from Love by their beliefs and thoughts, most also need forgiveness. “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven” (Luke 6:37). We need to give Love to what has hurt us and to those we have blamed for hurting us. “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you” (Luke 6:27). We must give love to receive love. “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, runner over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back” (Luke 6:38). Give Love and you will receive Love. We reap what we sow. If we sow loving thoughts, we will see love manifest. “Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may receive a blessings. For She that would love life…let her seek peace and pursue it” (1 Peter 3:9-11). The definition of evil is refusing to give and receive love! The definition of ego is giving love only to get something in return. Ego’s love has strings attached; payment is expected,  and obligation, manipulation or being controlled is hidden in the gift of lower nature ego love. It feels icky on an unconscious level. “They honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me” (Matthew 15:8). If we sow Love, we reap Love. If we sow Love and loving thoughts, we reap wholeness, perfect health, happiness, abundance and prosperity.

We only  need to do One thing: Love! We only need to focus on one thing: Love! We only need to ask for one thing: Uncreated Love! Unmanifest Love from the unified field of God expresses in our physical body and life in whatever form is needed in the moment. What would Love do in this situation? I wonder how love would look in this challenge? Seek Love and all things will be given to you. Who is the Queen of the kingdom of God? Love! Who can be Queen? Everyone, men and women. We all have royal blood flowing in our innermost core of our body. Get naked and clothe yourself with Love! Take off your victim mentality. Take off your martyr mentality. Take off your slave mentality. Take off your unloveable, unworthy mentality. Take off your untouchable mentality. Take off your baggage mentality. Take off your wounded healer mentality. Take off your sick mentality. Take off your orphan mentality. Take off your unwanted mentality. Take off your pauper mentality. Take off your damaged goods mentality. Take off your lack mentality. Take off your war or battle mentality. Take off all your clothes, all that is not Love, and clothe yourselves with Love! “Above all these, clothe yourself with Love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony” (Colossians 3:14). Love is the new fashion statement for 2012-2013! Love is the new fashion line for eternity. Put on Love: the highest Light of the world!

Romance yourself with this inner Love. Court this higher Love. Fall in love with your first love again: Love! Marry higher Love in a spiritual marriage. You only have to do this one thing and everything will be given to you. An earthly marriage between two spiritually married people is heaven on earth! The most profound mystery is the two shall become one (Ephesians 5:31-32). Apart from Love you can do nothing. “I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. I can do all things in Love-manifested who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:12). Yeshua, Love manifested into a human body, said “I am the vine and you are the branches. She who abides in me (Love), and I (Love) in her, she it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Love you can do nothing” (John 15:5). “If you abide in Love, and Love abides in you, ask whatever you will, and it will be done for you…As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my Love” (John 15:7-9). Abide in the ordinary, natural and simple Higher Love. Remember our source of Love is in the unified field of God: be ordinary, natural and simple to become the most powerful, supernatural and extraordinary. Miracles come from the simple resting, abiding in the effortless flow of ease and grace of Divine Love!

Love is invisible. To see our higher potential for love, Love became manifest in a human being. Love manifested in human life on earth so we could have an example of our higher nature. Love became visible so we could see it, and know it when we found it. Hello! Wake up and experience the invisible, Unseen, Higher Love, hidden in every atom, every cell, every body, every form of life! Seek Higher Love and you will find! Ask for Higher Love and you will receive! Be grounded and rooted in Higher Love and receive the crown of Higher Love that is a manifestation of your connection to the unified field of God, the unified field of uncreated, unmanifest Love! Our heart’s deepest, innermost desire is for Divine Love!

Make Love that issues from a pure heart your aim (1 Timothy 1:5. Make all your springs issue from the unified field of God’s Love! (Psalm 87:7). “How lovely is thy dwelling place, O Adonai” (Psalm 84:1-2). “My soul longs, yes faints for the courts of Adonai; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living Beloved…our heart is the holy highway to the new heaven on earth…the Beloved of the beloveds will be seen in the new heaven on earth…Adonai is a Sun and a Shield who bestows favor and honor (you are precious in my eyes and honored and I love you). No good thing does Adonai withhold from those who walk uprightly…blessed is the woman who trusts in you, Beloved Adonai” (Psalm 84:5-12). Be intimately connected to the unified field of Love! Let your body be filled with Love. Let your life flow with Love! Listen to Love’s call in your life. Allow the innermost Light of Spirit, Love energy, in your core to rise and reunite at your crown and open as a blossom–flower to the Most High and see the fruitage: twelve different kinds of fruit of the Spirit: peace, love, joy, kindness, patience, goodness, harmony, wholeness, freedom, oneness, self-mastery, and faith.

The answer is Love, not love of this world, but the Higher Love of the Beloved that is already shining in the world, but most cannot see it yet. Love requires an open spiritual eye, the third eye, and enlightened eyes of the heart to see it. When two people fall in love they taste Love. It makes all things new, bright and shiny. It brings out the highest and best of our natures (An example is the relationship Mrs Doubtfire had with his ex-wife and children when he acted from the inner, hidden feminine Spirit of Love). Love brings out the best in everyone and everything. When Higher Love is tasted, both people become whole and act as their highest, best selves.

When the holy sacrament of marriage is enacted, everything that is NOT Love rises to the surface to be released. Unfortunately, the majority of our society has not been taught that this is normal and natural. We don’t know that it is a GOOD thing for the unlovely to come to the surface so we can release it and be whole. Instead, the ego (the absence of love, the part of us that lacks Love) blindly sees the unlovely as evidence that it has married the wrong person. The ego then begins gathering more evidence by projecting blame to the spouse and by making the spouse the source of all the ego’s problems. In the eyes of the ego the spouse goes from beloved to enemy and the ego begins plotting ways to exit by withdrawing attention, distracting through working, burying itself in video games or tv, picking fights so it has a rationalization to leave, becoming nasty so you will be forced to leave and it can keep its self-righteousness intact, or manipulates and controls the situation to benefit its devious, selfish ways. The darkness of the unconscious false self takes over and the higher nature is buried. The ego makes “Love Stinks” its new anthem. Cynicism, resentment and bitterness are born of ego’s spirit of error and the true self’s spirit of truth is buried even deeper into our unconscious.

The hidden gift of marriage is the revealing of the darkness, the unmet needs, and hidden wounds we all carry within us. The task of adulthood is to see the hidden truth, take off the cloak of the ego and reveal the beautiful array-ment of Love that is in the core of every human being. Higher Love is waiting to be revealed and marriage is the crucible to reveal the hidden gold so we may all enter the new heaven on earth. Everything we need to be happy, prosperous and fulfilled is hidden within our innermost core. Love is waiting to be revealed! Say Yes to the rising darkness and say I love you to the past as you watch it leave, disappear, dissolve or fall away in the Presence of Love! All you have to do is focus on the One thing: Higher Love. You only have to make a commitment to stay together in marriage in a covenant of Love. We must commit to enter the darkness of the unconscious as it rises to the surface, step into the fire, and let the tsunami of emotion wash over you to show you that you do will not be consumed, you will not drown, you will not die, but you will be resurrected into Higher Love and ascended into Oneness–into a true Partnership with God in a right relationship with your spouse and with all life. You and your spouse will enter into the new heaven on earth in JOY.

“Teach me thy way, O Adonai, that I may walk in thy truth; unite my heart to revere thy name. I give thanks to you, O Adonai my Beloved, with my whole heart, for great is your constant unconditional Love toward me” (Psalm 86:11-13).

Root and ground in Love in the unified field of God–the source of Love–the river of Higher Love–the ocean of Light–the uncreated Light of God–the fountain of Life–the source of the Living Water–Life force energy that bubbles up and flows into and within and through our body. Receive and Give; Give and Receive. Rinse. Repeat!!! Love is the answer. Love is the solution to every problem. There is only Love. Recognize Love in the midst of your challenge and you will see the challenge dissipate in the Light of Love. God is Love (1 John 4:8).
