What Are You Planting In Your Garden?

In the beginning was the mind…. deep, dark, fecund soil of consciousness and Spirit moving along the face of the deep. The beginning of our mind is dark, unlimited potential, and infinite Spirit; dark, still, silent, formless consciousness and movement of Spirit. It takes movement of the formless-precursor-to-everything to produce energy, light and form!

Is your mind a verdant garden or a weedy, dark, cluttered mess?

Is your mind a garden paradise? Is your mind the new heaven on earth in the kingdom of God? Have you planted the seeds for the tree of life?  Do you let the Sun of Presence shine in your mind? Do you water it every day with the Living Water of Spirit? Are you remembering God every day? Are you eating and drinking good thoughts? Are you in communion with thoughts of goodness, beauty and truth?

Are you nourishing your mind with light-filled, uplifting, inspired thoughts? Are your thoughts bearing juicy fruit? Is your mind centered in the tree of life of good, very good and excellent higher thoughts? Is your Gardener the indwelling Spirit? Did you plant the vine of Christ in your mind? Have you grafted your branch into the Tree of Life in the middle of your mind?

Are you centered in the heavenly garden of your mind? The bread of life is good thoughts like “I am made in the image and likeness of God” or “I and the Father are one” or “I am the light of the world”. The blood is life-affirming thoughts that strengthens the blood, a tonic that builds blood cells; thoughts of wholeness, health, wellbeing, strength, abundance, vitality, freedom, beauty, awe and wonder.

Communion is eating and drinking nutritious thoughts and beliefs that keep you in remembrance of your oneness with the Beloved; remembrance of the Alive Presence of God in you. Remember goodness, beauty and moments of union versus dark memories of pain, trauma, or negative, distorted thoughts.

How many weed thoughts have grown up in your unattended mind? How overgrown is the dense, thick underbrush of old negative beliefs and distorted thoughts? How many upsetting thoughts are choking out the tender, innocent, gentle, pure thoughts of the still, small voice within? How many low “crawling on their belly eating dust” thoughts are slithering through your mind? How many dense dark thoughts of fear, doubt, worry, resentment, bitterness, regret, revenge, retaliation, anger, sadness, discouragement or guilt are taking up precious garden space in your mind?

What are you feeding your mind? Thoughts  are digested or transmuted into our life experiences. Evil dark thoughts transmute into negative unwanted experiences. Light-filled, life affirming thoughts transmute or transfigure into miracles, signs, wonders, beauty, joy, peace, love and  harmony. Light thoughts are fertilizer, sun and water for great experiences! The food you give your mind becomes flesh: lies create weeds; truth and love create juicy, luscious fruit and beautiful blossoms!

Light-filled thoughts transfigure into the garden of the new heaven on earth! Porn creates weeds; garbage in creates garbage out. We are what we eat! Agape Love creates beautiful flowers and tasty fruit!

Return to the garden of Eden in your mind, but this time you return as an adult intellect with the reasoning, logic and the knowledge of good and evil and the innocent, pure, trusting heart of a child that knows she is one with God and inseparable.

Go back to the beginning. In the beginning was the logos, the mind, the consciousness of limitless potential, infinite possibilities and eternal Presence and Power. In the beginning was formless fullness, fecund emptiness, and empty fullness. In the beginning was mind containing the dark, empty, transcendent Intelligence of the Divine Masculine principle (Daily Bread) and the spirit movement, fullness of Life, flow, and Power of the Wisdom of the Divine Feminine (Daily Delight!).

Go back to the beginning to the stillness, silence, rest and movement, formless, infinite potential and unlimited possibilities of your mind. Create anew from the original canvas with the goodness, truth and beauty of your shared Christ mind. See the beautiful, abundant fruit!

Bring heaven to earth once again by planting the seed in the garden of your mind. Water it with Living Spirit and let the Sun of Presence shine upon it.
