Elasticity of Spirit

“Leave the familiar for a while. Let your senses and bodies stretch out like a welcomed season onto the meadow and shores and hills” Hafiz

Turn your attention to the macro level and soak in the natural wonder of the external world. Drink in beauty. Allow your focus to expand beyond the earth to the universe, to the galaxy, and to the cosmos. Soak in the infinite vibration of all that is.

“Abraham Lincoln had an elasticity of spirit meaning that he had an ability to go within and get clear direction despite the outer unrest going on around him” John Jay

When challenges occur, drop from the unrest in your mind to the secret place within. Turn your attention from the outside world to the inner world. Shut the door to your five senses. Open the door to your spiritual senses. Just be aware. Notice. Listen. Soak. Receive. Be.

Find the portal to infinity within your being. Expand. Rise. Radiate. Shine.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come…lift up your eyes round about, and see…then you will see and be radiant, your heart shall thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you” Isaiah 60:1,4,5

“A tranquil mind gives life to the flesh” Proverbs 14:30

“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10
