What spirit is operating in you? You will know by the fruit of your life; by the experiences you are having; by your thoughts, feelings and the words that come out of your mouth when you are triggered! When you are squeezed does Christ come out, or does irritation, anger, resentment, negativity, fear, doubt or anxiety come out!
If the one Holy Spirit has taken up residence in you, the fruit will be unconditional love (no conditions), perfect peace, fullness of joy, gentleness (the Lamb of God is in you), goodness (Abba is only Goodness), kindness, patience, faithfulness (you Trust the Unseen; assured of Goodness), and self-control (Christ is your Self; your self is dead!).

Thanks for that post. I had to check myself today for this very thing. I got angry over something and I realized, “wow I just totally blew it God, please forgive me!”

James, anger is not bad, as long as it is righteous anger over something proper. God gave us emotions for a reason.

“anger over something proper” puts us in the role of judge and it is best to leave that to God and just love unconditionally. Notice anger, yes, and then give it to God, and go back to loving! 🙂 Seek guidance of Holy Spirit, intercede, pray, and go back to loving as Christ loves. In this simple Way, the world will transform! 🙂
