Conduit of Heaven

slide_329881_3232181_free

What if every human being on earth is a conduit that either allows heaven to flow to earth, or hell to flow up to earth? What if with every thought we are either adding to the light or adding to the darkness? What if every word out of our mouth blesses or curses the earth and each other? What if the greatest thing any one can do for the world is to take responsibility, turn and return to our Source?

What if we are not dreaming big enough? What if we have not rooted in the right soil? What if we have put our faith in lower expectations? What if we are believing the wrong sources? What if we are listening to the wrong people? What if we have been manipulated, controlled and fooled? What if everything we need and every answer is already within us, lying dormant like a seed? What if the Light of Christ could awaken and activate the seed? What if all that is needed is your awareness?

slider-17

What if our body is supposed to be the new earth and our mind the new heavens? What would you change? Would you be more mindful? Would you stay awake and consciously act to bring more heaven to earth? Would you be more careful, watchful, alert, and conscious? Would you leave more space between thoughts, between words or between actions?

What if everything is really possible? What if human beings really are the image and likeness of God, but they just don’t know it yet? What if we really are the conduits of heaven to earth?

What possesses you? What are you filled with? What is your passion? Who do you identify with? What are you reflecting? Who do you represent? What are you here to be and do?

You are welcome πŸ™‚ Hmm…where to start. Well, I follow the path of what is originally known as Sanatan dharma (eternal duty) of the jiva (living entity). This originates from erstwhile India in which a plethora of insightful Vedic texts or shastras are found; albeit, rare to find, but not impossible for the sincere seeker of the truth. Of course, someone might ask, ‘but what is the truth?’ For many it means different things. But one axiomatic truth is that, we are not these bodies. We are eternal spiritual beings in essence, placed in a material body. From that realisation, we begin the journey of self-realisation, which intensified for me more than fifteen years ago, when I met my spiritual master. I grew up in a Christian atmosphere, but although there were indoctrinations about God, I was never clear on Who God really is. The vagueness remained until I was guided to my guru, who revealed to me (us) Who God is and how we relate or can relate to Him. My conception of God took on a whole completely different hue from what I was misled to believe. The Supreme Lord relates to us through pure devotional service and by that very service, we can experience Him daily, by tuning in to every little way He is teaching us how to come closer to Him. If you look on my blog sight you may find some interesting insights that may pique your interest. Have a little peruse and I’ll be more than happy to continue sharing. One recommended reading of shastra (ancient sacred texts) is called the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. This text is more than 5000 years old, but timeless, because it was spoken by Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, which has been passed down through a chain of spiritual masters through disciplic succession, unchanged. There you will find all the answers to your questions and you can read this text online for free here:http://vedabase.com/en or buy a copy here:http://www.krishna.com/bhaktivedanta-vedabase-update-0. Wishing you well.
        Blessed be πŸ™‚

        • Thank you for sharing in such depth. I too was given religion instead of the Spirit and Word of God. Instead of “indoctrinations about God”, we get to now go directly to God because Jesus removed the veil. Now I only agree with God, not doctrines and precepts of human beings about God. I follow and honor Jesus above all others on earth or in heaven because he made it possible to have an intimate, direct relationship with his God and Father and we no longer need a mediator or a guru. Why follow lesser lights when we can go to the Source of Light, through the Light of Christ?

“But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a custodian; for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith…when you put on Christ… there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” Galatians 3:25-29.

The faith that came is not “faith in God”, but the faith OF Jesus, so instead of going through religion, or gurus or human beings who attain a certain spiritual level, we can go directly to God and the Holy Spirit teaches us everything about God so we can know God intimately and directly; we become sons and brides and priests and kings just like Jesus, BECAUSE of Jesus and what he did for ALL.

When the truth of what Jesus did for human beings and the world hits your heart, you fall to your knees, weep profusely, and become overwhelmed with God’s Love. There are really no words to describe it. I had to leave the church for the Holy Spirit to fall on me and Jesus to come to me and say, “Come to Me you who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you Rest” Once the Holy Spirit began teaching me the Truth about God, I was able to return to worship corporately and the Spirit gives me discernment and translates His words to my heart. I let the doctrines and precepts of men just pass me by like teflon, not letting it stick, and cling to the Word of God because it is life and Spirit, feeding and nourishing me! May the Spirit of Truth overwhelm you!

“Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for IN HIM all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities–all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and IN HIM all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and THROUGH HIM to reconcile to himself ALL things, whether on earth or in heaven…in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him, provided you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the gospel which you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven” Colossians 1:15-23

The gospel was preached to every creature then it was perverted by religion of men, but God sent his Spirit to wake us up and teach us everything Jesus brought to earth: the gospel of the good news of the kingdom of heaven on earth and our true inheritance as sons of the Living God! “When a human turns to the Lord the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And we ALL, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another” 2 Cor 3:16.

Jesus was the first-born from the dead and we can resurrect with him to be seated in heavenly places with God while our body is on earth. This is the Good News! It is already done! We do not need gurus; we only need to receive all that Jesus has already done and given to us. It has nothing to do with what we do, or a guru does; we merely need to wake up and receive all that Jesus has already done and step into our destiny and purpose as sons and brides of God!

All of creation is groaning and in travail until human beings wake up and take their mantle from Jesus! The Holy Spirit gives us the same anointing as Jesus, the seven Spirits from the throne: the Spirit of the Lord, the spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the spirit of Revelation and Power, the spirit of Knowledge and the fear of the Lord (reverential awe) (Isa 11). The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, raises us and lives inside of us making us conquerors and Jesus lifts us up to sit with him on his throne as God lifted him (Rev 3:20). Don’t let indoctrination of men keep you from the direct route to God! May God bless you, keep you, make his face shine upon you, be gracious to you, lift his countenance upon you and give you true shalom! Jesus speak to him and send your Spirit to fall upon his flesh; God loves you so much! God LOVES the world and all his creation; anyone that tells you differently is batting for the wrong team!

I hear you and have read your comment. I don’t know if you read the two posts on my blog page called ‘Jesus in the Vedas and ‘Krsna and Jesus Christ. You will see them on the right-hand side of my page. Jesus is Jesus and he is real, indeed. But we have to also understand Who God is and how we are related to Him. By definition, Jesus is a guru or a spiritual master, as he came into this world to teach. Anyone who teaches, is called guru. Of course, there are bona-fide gurus or what is called kang (gurus) bogus gurus, who mislead the populace. Yet, there are still bona-fide gurus or spiritual masters who are also sent into this world to guide people towards enlightment and ultimately, true liberation and even beyond liberation.

From the Christian belief system, Jesus is the only way, but this is not the full truth. In every sphere of life, we have to have guidance; our first guide/guru is our parents, then our teachers in schools, colleges etc, then we are guided by superiors in the work place etc. so we are always under guidance. The concept of guru/disciple is not man-made. It is coming from the Supreme Lord Himself and Jesus exemplified that. We cannot jump to anything just like that and certainly we cannot have a direct relationship with the Supreme without that intermediary as shown by Jesus.

So, we don’t throw the baby out with the bath water, because unscrupulous people have mislead the general norm by the philosophy of ‘in the land of the blind, the one-eyed is king.’ Unfortunately, some people who assume themselves to be enlightened or even liberated (which often is merely temporary cessation from material distress, and not true liberation) took advantage of a great number of people, that now, hardly anyone wants to believe in anything. It’s sad and breaks my heart. But that is the reality of what we are dealing with.

You have Jesus’s blessings, so I can only encourage you to find out Who is indeed God. On my blog page, you may find some insightful, eye-opening revelations and this I tell you, is not man-made. What I’ve uploaded there, is directly from the Vedas which were given by the very Supreme Lord, Himself. That is why it is authentic, relevant, beneficial and timeless for spiritual advancement. Wishing you well.

            • Thank you for explaining where you are coming from. I know that one translated meaning of the word guru is “darkness to light” and it is an appropriate term for the True Light that came into the world to enlighten all human beings in the human form of Jesus. Christ Jesus is more than a guru however. Jesus is the exact image of the invisible God and while Jesus said the Father is greater and he could do nothing of his own authority, he also said, “if you have seen me you have seen the Father” Jesus pointed everyone back to the Father. Even the Source of all creation, the Source of all Life is relational! We don’t have to worship an unknown God or be under any human being, even though they call themselves gurus or spiritual teachers. We can go to the Living One, who is alive forever more; knowable and accessible and more Real than this physical realm. Jesus was the only perfect human who was also fully God. He ascended and is perfectly one with God. The two became one again and send their Spirit to us to transform us into their likeness. We don’t have to become self realized or enlightened; we just need to be overshadowed by the Spirit of God. It is no longer time for gurus; everyone can have a direct relationship with the Creator of Life and heaven and earth now! I have met and listened to many gurus and they could never say they lived a perfect human life, or died, or resurrected, even though they believe they are God-realized. I left Christianity when I had a life crisis; I studied/practiced/explored/searched Buddhism then Hinduism and then Sufism in my spiritual quest for Truth. I found initial bliss/ecstasy/divine encounters in all three, and then found just as much dogma as in Christianity. Thankfully, Jesus came to me and said “Come to Me” and I did and I found the Highest Light, the Highest Love and the deepest Peace as the Holy Spirit downloaded teaching to me. I no longer seek spiritual experiences or divine encounters because the Spirit of God lives in me and is transforming me into Christ’s image from glory to glory, from light to Light! My greatest joy is seeing Christ in more and more eyes as his Light is blooming from the seeds he planted while on earth! Jesus is the Living One; the first-born from the dead. He is my friend and my brother and my exemplary example in visible form; he is my Husband, my Father and my God in his greater, invisible, formless, uncreated Light beingness/consciousness/Life. These words too are merely descriptors, labels that in no way convey what they actually point to. Word fail me! They disappoint as I cannot put it into words. I defer to the Spirit of God! Blessings to you!

I hear you and having grown up in a Christian atmosphere, I understand your line of thought. Many Christians or followers of Jesus hold the same understanding as you do. But in order to progress spiritually, we have to understand tattva (actualities of things). Where I’m coming from is not Hinduism. We don’t follow any ism, our approach is neither dogmatic or sectarian. It is a way of life. I can only share that we must understand some basic principles that we are not these bodies and designations we label ourselves, which is called jiva tattva (the true nature of the living entity). We then have to understand maya tattva (the nature of this temporary and illusory realm), then guru tattva (the nature of guru; who is a bona-fide guru) then Krsna tattva (Who is indeed God, in actuality). Without these understandings the spiritual progress we make will be very limited. What you are explaining is from your own perspective, but it is not siddhantically correct (philosophical established or axiomatic truths) even from a point of logic and reason. Yes, it is rare to find a bona-fide guru of the highest order, but it is said in the Vedas, ‘when the disciple is ready, the guru appears.’ That means, he/she who sincerely wants to know the truth. As Gaudiya Vaisnavas, we present the philosophy and let people make up their own minds. We don’t indoctrinate anyone, because at the end of the day, everyone will choose the path they are going; albeit, not all paths lead to the same end. But the jiva (living entity) has a certain amount of free will to explore and here I leave you with good wishes. All the best.

                • I hear you, and as I grew up and out of the religion that is called Christianity, I also understand your line of thought. When I went on my search for truth, I went through buddhism to practice dzogchen; I went through hinduism to practice advaita vedanta in a nonduality class in my doctoral program. I went through sufism to experience fana. Every spiritual practice brought me through and to the same place, initial bliss/ecstasy then beyond that to the nothingness/emptiness/silence/void, whatever you want to call it. I went beyond the siddhas. I went beyond the emptiness, not this not that, to the fullness, all is God. I saw the false identities, false self, illusory names, labels, the illusory world, the illusory self. I saw our true nature is divine. I went beyond external gurus to the inner guru to seeing I needed no guru; I could go direct to God and God came directly to me through what Jesus did while he was on earth. I experienced that I was one with God and there was no longer two but one. I did all the searching and seeking and I found there was one body and one Spirit, and it was God, it was Christ, and it was me; the two became one: my soul and God’s Spirit/Essence/Presence/Awareness/Consciousness (words are inadequate labels). I know that all is God, above all, in all and through all. Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water; after enlightenment chop wood, carry water. I carry the living water: the Spirit of Christ! The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come take the water without price” Jesus said, “Come to Me and I will give you rest for your soul” Jesus is the way, the truth and the life of God. We prove we are not yet one with God if reject his Christ! I choose Christ Jesus. I trust my CJ. I can fully let go and rest my mind, heart and soul in Christ. I live in heaven on earth in Christ, beyond illusion. I do not believe in dogma, doctrines or precepts of men or religion. I do not believe the dogma of Christianity; I believe Jesus through the teaching of the Holy Spirit, my Wisdom, Understanding, Revelation, Counsel, Power, Knowledge, Teacher, Guide, Helper, Vinedresser and Gardner of the tree of life. When I was ready, the guru appeared so I could see that the guru was within and that I did not need a guru! I progressed through the needing of a guru to find the direct way: the truth and life of God in me by going to the name above all names; the one who was given all power and authority in heaven and on earth. The only One at the Source of God is the ascended Christ, the living essence of God, the highest vibration and Light and Awareness in God! One of the greatest gifts God gave to human beings was free will, the ability to choose! For freedom, Christ gave us freedom! I choose Christ over and over again as nothing else fulfills eternally! I wish you nothing but the best! To God be the Glory!

There is karma attached to our choices until we go beyond karma in Christ! God loves you so much! I bless you and wish you well!

      • justsomeone says:

        thenoveilst,

Although you follow the Vedas, and you realize the divine presence in you, do you realize WHY we have this divine presence within us?

Regardless of your religion, the answer is the same – Jesus Christ. It is He who united divinity to humanity, making humanity holy from our natural, fallen constitution, nailed it to the Cross, died, buried and grew up into New Life from the seed of old humanity. Since His death, that seed is in every single human being, just waiting to be watered.

We are not divine in and of ourselves, it is He who shares it with us. The natural cannot become divine in and of itself, nor is the natural divine. The divine has always been separate from the natural, the natural lives and moves and has its being in the divine, yet the gulf between natural and divine is such that the natural could never become divine on its own, it is futile.

For this reason, Jesus Christ came. Do you believe? Please do not make the mistake that the natural world is divine or God, that is equating the Creation with the Creator, and making the Creation God, which is patently false, absurd and wrong.

However, in recognizing Jesus Christ as the One who came from the Divine in order to share it with us, making us partakers of the divine nature just as He partook of natural, human nature yet without the stain of sin, can all religions unite. Jesus Christ is the basis of all true religion, uniting a separate creation, making it Creation, still separate, yet united to the Creator as One.

This is the secret, of which all religions spring, whether they recognize Jesus or not, since all religions seek to make man divine, yet Jesus Christ is the only one who could do it. The Vedic religion, although “older” than Christianity, was a type and shadow of that which was to come, of which all prior religions are. They had an inkling of the Truth, which is why so many older religions all have the same base – yet because the Earth had not yet known Jesus Christ, they could not know God. The urge to know and be God is embedded within humanity, it is the drive of the creation toward the Creator, it is put there by God. However all previous religions worshipped the unknown Source, as Yvonne says, and the Bible says, the Source, the Father, is unknown and cannot be seen by anyone. It is Jesus Christ, Who has revealed Him, and Jesus Christ alone.
