Differences are not separation! The physical eyes see different forms and different physical characteristics. The differences seen make us think that we are separate from what is seen. Differences observed, different thoughts, different belief systems, different feelings, different channels of expression do NOT mean separation!
When our eyes are open, we can see an edge of our body, where the skin stops and the air or space seem to begin. With our physical eyes open we see “my body” here and “your body” there; a chair over there; a bird flying outside the window. But when we close our eyes and use our conscious awareness to find an edge, a border, or a separation, it cannot be found! Try it! Try to find where you end and where something else begins! Try to find a border for your skin on the inside! Try to find a border of the chair across the room with your eyes closed!
It is impossible because it does not exist in Existence! God is Ultimate Existence, Ultimate Life, Ultimate Awareness and we are also that! We are the image and likeness of pure awareness, pure existence, pure consciousness, Love, Light and Life Itself! We are one with all that exists! We all come from one Source! If we get in touch with our pure inner awareness, we can be in intimate relationship with God and we can never be separated! Even if our physical eyes tell us so!
So…
when you are feeling lonely, sad, down, depressed, anxious, or fearful…
or any discontent or sense of dissatisfaction…
or your love cup is empty or getting low…
close your eyes…
try to find where you end and God begins…
try again…
then just let Love cuddle you from the inside!
“Even before a word is on my tongue, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou dost beset me behind and before…such knowledge is too wonderful for me…Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or wither shall I flee from thy Presence? If I ascend to heaven, thou art there! If I make my bed in Sheol, thou art there!
