The idea of religion according to Oswald Chambers is our eyes on God, not on men; the reality of religion is eyes on religion and a God in a box! But what if we go beyond ideas and encounter the living God! Spiritual experiences of the kingdom, power and glory of God forever change us and religion becomes too small as we know God could never fit in a box or a set of doctrines. The only truly satisfying fulfillment for our heart is an intimate relationship with our Creator with our whole being! Being inside Him and his Christ in us is true union!!
Life goes from having to go to church and sing songs and do rituals, repeating the same prayers, vain repetitions, to every day waking up to hear birds singing God’s praise and the excitement of getting to sing his praises that lead into true spiritual worship: time and space dissolve as we move beyond words, thoughts and normal consciousness, “caught up in the air” the place where we disappear and there is only One, absorbed into His Love and Light, yet there is no other!!!!!!!! This is spiritual worship; we worship what we KNOW; we have been “caught up” in the Spirit; “true worshipers worship the Father in spirit for God is spirit” John 4:22-24. Spiritual worship is in your body where you are caught up in your heart in the Spirit! (Romans 12:1).
This is where we enter the glory and everything that is wrong is made right; this is the place beyond duality, beyond satan’s tree of the knowledge of good and evil; beyond religion to the place of unity consciousness where two become one and miracles abound! We praise, fall in Love in our heart of hearts and rise in consciousness! We praise until we enter worship; we worship until the glory manifests! (Ruth Heflin) These are not concepts your mind can understand; these are experiences beyond this world; heavenly encounters of the super natural kind with God!
The first time we encounter the Presence of God, our consciousness suddenly rises to heavenly realms, and we fall to the ground; unconscious in the Presence of the glory. As our nervous system gets used to higher levels, we can begin to stand firm! As we learn to stand in the Light of God and walk in it, nothing of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil can make us fall! We are sons of light; sons of the eternal Day (1 Thes 5:5)!!!!!!!!
At first we try to climb the mountain of God, and there are many pitfalls and false trails. If we try to follow a particular religion’s trail, we end up at the top of their trail and the Most High God is not there! We try something else and keep sensing God’s true mountain off there in the distance shrouded in clouds. When Christ draws us up and we taste his glory, we want to stay there permanently; we get frustrated when we find ourselves back in the valley facing the same things over and over again. But as we adjust to the higher altitudes of our new attitude of gratitude, basking in the light of his Presence whether we can feel it or not, we begin to realize that the whole purpose of mountain top experiences is to take what we are imparted back to the lowest valleys which can’t help but begin to raise them up!
We fall and rise; rise and fall, until we wake up and step out of the world of duality and into the eternal kingdom of God within and let Wisdom build her house in us for the habitation of God and his Christ, flowing with the crystal clear Awareness of God, the pure river of the water of life!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New Heaven on Earth! 
This is sooooooo blessed!!! It’s truly a summary of a great book I’ve read and read read years ago called “Hinds Feet on High Places” By: Hannah Hunard. It was a book that the Holy Spirit kept leading me back to until I finally discovered that the character in the book was really me. As Much Afraid (the main character) was transformed, so I begin to see my spiritual life journey take a different turn to never be the same again. I, too am realizing the rise and fall and the benefits and blessings in both places. We’re truly blessed to be a blessing! What an awesome blessed and abundant life to live in true Freedom!!! Yes indeed we are of the same Royal Family Sis! So good to be in touch, and share the Royal Inheritance!!! You are so welcome, the book was awesome. It was the beginning of my turning point in life when I was awaken and began my spiritual journey out of darkness. As you posted, I remember my rise and fall, but was always reminded of the journey of Much Afraid, how she felt as if she was going in circles to the call to the high places. Knowing the end of her story of transformation the rise and fall are really needed. On her journey upward she called it Sorrow and Suffering. Yet, in the end even they were transformed to Joy and Peace!!! It was a book that someone shared with me as I was providing care for them. A treasure shared right on time for me. As life goes on I often refer back to it. Like the Holy Bible, we can really learn to endure hardship especially when we know how the story ends. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus!!! We are already victorious!!! I look at things in this life as stepping stones to the higher places, and determine never to give up. Blessed with a personal word from my Heavenly Father years ago, I know without a doubt that I can trust ALL of His promises. Yet, to have Him is more than enough for me. To have Him is to have ALL of the promises. Walking in the light brings clarity how to live my life to bring glory to Him. No more boxed in life. He spoke one day and said ‘Maude! I’ve picked you up out of the miry clay, and placed your feet on solid Rock to stay; never again will you have to worry about your back up against the wall’. He is faithful to His word!!! This I know, this I share!!!❤🙏😊

Thank you Maude for again sharing your heart and letting all of us know how the All-Goodness of God transforms everything into His Son’s Life in us where we count it all Joy!! As in Saul to Paul’s conversion we SEE the Light and our eyes are opened so we can turn from darkness or unawareness to Light and know God and his Christ IN US (closer than a brother!) so we can expand and increase God’s Kingdom on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN; turn from the power of satan to God so we can be assured that evil no longer has a part in us; receive forgiveness and a PLACE among those who are sanctified by faith: the PLACE in consciousness Jesus prepared for us when he ascended and draws us up! (Acts 26:18) We realize Jesus filled all of the earth, below the earth, the heavens and above the highest heavens, which also means he filled us, and so with new eyes to see, the eyes of our heart enlightened by Jesus, all we see is Christ! We see past physical appearances; we no longer judge by appearances! We call forth the Spirit of God into all darkness and it dissolves into the Light of Christ! Unlike the ten who had a sneak peek of the Promised Land and gave a fearful report, we are like the two who gave a good report!! Come to the NHONE and take the water of life without price and BE all that God is waiting for you to wake up and BE! It is time to take off the old garment completely and put on the Lord Jesus Christ; BE “Christ in you”; it is not time to patch the old covenant up, it is time to step into the new covenant where we are in Christ, Christ in us (the two become one new creation) and we go forth into the world shining his light and glory for the Glory of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful post, and I loved your line about how we put God in a box… How can mystery itself be reduced to the confines of the known??? And I agree with you about the point of the mountaintop being to somehow connect the higher and the lower… Bringing the power and beauty to life…

Thank you Michael! Yes!! We are in Christ and Christ in us, but God, our Father is always greater, there is always MORE, mercy is new EVERY morning and we move from grace to grace, glory to glory!!!!!!!! Oh the BEAUTY of the risen, ascended Christ’s Light in all God’s creation when we have eyes to see and ears to hear!! Every grain of sand, every blade of grass, every child, and every tear contains the medicine in the wound, if we just don’t shy away but go through the fire into the hidden treasure!!

Thank you dear sister Susanne!!!!! Finding Christ in us is like winning the lottery on steroids, only it doesn’t destroy our life, it GIVES us our real LIFE! We wake up and realize that EVERYTHING we could ever need is already given to us, in us in God; that the ascended Christ who is perfectly one with God is all the heavenly blessings and all the spiritual gifts and heavenly endowments and we find Him in us, his kingdom within in us that empowers and gives us the wisdom to walk in His light on earth as it is in heaven! Rapture! O Love that will not let me go!
