Soul Trouble

If you are torn, distressed or troubled, you can bet it is originating from a soul wound. Our spirits are deeply moved; our souls become troubled. The prescription for a wounded soul is Jesus, the living one, alive forever more to intercede with, cleave with, apply the blood of the Lamb, forgive all parties including yourself, give permission and be willing for a soul transformation. We are forgiven as we forgive; we receive what we give. Jesus is the great physician of the soul (our heart, mind and will), which can be purified, refined and made white as snow in the blood of the Lamb, transformed, transfigured and transmuted by the Holy Spirit and fire of God which is the power and wisdom of Christ!

When Lazarus was dead for four days, Jesus’ spirit was deeply moved and when he saw the distress of Mary and Martha, his soul was troubled (John 11:33; 12:27). He wept as a Son of man. As Son of God he prayed, and Lazarus was resurrected and restored to life. Jesus is the resurrection and the life! “I am the resurrection and the life; she who believes in me, though she may die, yet shall she live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die” (John 11:25) If your soul is troubled, you can be lifted up and resurrected back into life and the life of Christ: perfect, complete and lacking nothing! “Count it all joy when you meet with various trials. Be steadfast. Keep your mind set on God and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete and lacking in nothing” James 1:2-4. Ask for wisdom; God gives to all generously and without reproaching, and it will be given to you. But ask in faith with NO DOUBTING or double-mindedness, or you will receive nothing (James 1:5-8)!

If there is any reproach, it is not of the HOLY Spirit; conviction of your conscience yes, reproach or condemnation no!

When we are in Christ we have both the Son of man and Son of God interceding within, both troubling (so we know we have taken a wrong turn or allowed a wrong spirit) and resolving the troubles; so we press in, lean on, cleave to, yoke with, and agree with the Voice of the Lamb, our Shepherd. The Holy Spirit is our guide, leader, teacher, comforter, helper, soul healer, and vine caretaker. We make sure we are on the Vine and our branches are taken care of: provided everything we need to grow and flourish, pruned when needed, and dead branches are removed and burned (John 15:1-6). We can simply trust the Lamb of God to guide us to springs of living water (Rev 7:17)! “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you (spirit and life), ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you” John 15:7!

When we realize the mystery hidden for ages and generations was made manifest by Jesus, the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, we proclaim the warning and the teaching in all wisdom, that every human being can mature in Christ…to have the riches of assured understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge…receive Christ Jesus the Lord, live in him, root and built up in him and be established in the faith, abounding in thanksgiving. See that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of deity [Godhead] dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness of life in him, who is the head (Colossians 1:26-2:10)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the pure, holy Spirit of God!

Abide in Christ and let Christ abide in you! Allow the “purify, refine and make white as snow in the blood of the Lamb” process! Take courage and go into the pain, into the fire, let the rivers of tears flow. Let your body, soul and spirit be washed, cleansed, and cleared so you can receive the eye salve: salvation for your eyes to see as Christ sees, your mind set on things above, your mind “stayed on God, trusting in him, keeping you in perfect peace” (Isaiah 26:3). Allow the fire of God to burn the dross and chaff to become refined gold. And let the blood of the Lamb and the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit make you white as snow, pristine, a new creation wearing the white garment of light, our soul wounds healed in the glory of God! (Rev 3:18).

Let your soul be purified, refined and made white (Daniel 11 and 12) so you can be a bride, awake, filled with Christ’s light, the Lamb as our lamp, the glory as our light (Rev 21:23)!

“Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” John 11:40 

“Now my soul is troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father save me from this hour?’ No, for THIS PURPOSE I have come to this hour. Father, glorify thy name…NOW is the judgment of this world, NOW shall the ruler of this world be cast out; and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL to myself” John 12:27-32

NOW let it be done to me according to your Word!

~30 to 70 AD was NOW for the judgment of the world and NOW for the casting out of the evil one. It is already finished and we just enter into the finished work of the cross! This is the GOOD NEWS! It is finished! It is done when you believe and receive it!!! Jesus said, “This generation will not pass away before ALL this has taken place” Matthew 24:34; Luke 21:32! Simply, with child-like faith, lay down your old life now and enter into Lord Jesus Christ, the name and nature of the new creation!!! If the name Lord Jesus Christ offends you in any way, triggers you or causes your soul to be troubled, you know that you have been infiltrated with the wrong spirit. Renounce all other spirits, repent and turn to God to be healed for “you could not believe because your eyes have been blinded and your heart hardened to the true healer, lest they should see with their eyes and perceive with their heart, and turn for me to heal them” John 12:39-40
