Come What May

“Come what may” is a song from the movie Moulin Rouge, but as I pondered the phrase, it spoke of living life without spiritual intentionality, more specifically, Christ-intentionality, the highest, deepest, powerful intentionality living in one accord, one mind, one heart, one soul, one spirit and yes, even one body with our Lord Jesus Christ. The default mode of the world is being run unconsciously by the spirit of the age, the ruler of this world, the god of the world, worshiping the creation instead of the Creator of heaven and earth. It takes a step on our part, an intention and follow through, to step out of the world and into the kingdom of God and be consciously ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords. Only you can surrender and open to receive the King of glory and Father of glory, or lights!

“Every good endowment and every perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights without variation or shadow of change”

I realized this morning that just as the tree of life in the garden of Eden was protected by cherubim with flaming swords, for Christ to live in us, we need guards at the seven gateways of our body. We need the seven spirits from the throne to guard the tree of life within us, our most precious treasure! We open to receive the King of glory through the ancient gates of our body temple; the guarded gates being the gate of our spirit (crown), the gate of our mind (forehead), the gate of our tongue (mouth), the gate of our heart, the gate of our will (solar plexus), the gate of our relationships (sacral), and the gate of our root needs (generative).

“Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in”

The river of water of life can flow above from the throne, upon, in and through our body from the top of our head to the soles of our feet, supplying every need of the body temple with the glory fire and Spirit so the tree of life can flourish within. The seven spirits from the throne can guard, protect, provide, purify, refine, and make our body centers white as snow in the blood of the Lamb. Much of today’s church spirituality focuses on the lion and roaring, but I don’t see that in scripture for today as it describes the counterfeit, the lying lion that roams the earth looking for prey to steal, kill and destroy our lives, relationships, love, peace and joy. After the cross, “It is finished” and after 70 AD where those who pierced Jesus and did not repent or come to their right mind were destroyed as was the external temple, “It is done,” it is the LAMB of God who is with the Father on the throne and is with and in those who have been reconciled with the Father. It is the bride, the wife of the Lamb, who is gentle, meek, humble, yielded, a tree of life, that is protected by the cherubim with flaming swords in the garden paradise of a new heaven on earth!

“Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb”

The Spirit and the Bride say come, yoke to the Lamb, and take the water of life without price to rest in God while his Spirit works in and through you, a stream of living water! The past and future are “ow” but “now” is eternal and perfect! Enter the NOW of God; enter the eternal new now, the eternal day of the Lord where you KNOW that Jesus is in his Father and you are in Jesus and he is in you! This is the ultimate protection and provision, the ultimate rest; the ultimate abode and refuge! Instead of  come what may; come Lord Jesus, and everything will change, transform, transfigure and be made new!

Romantic love is but a shadow of true love of the beloved and Beloved! Romantic love cannot save you, is destined to change, hurt, and eventually die; but the eternal LOVE of the Bridegroom is everlasting, unchanging, and the most powerful force for permanent transformation. God is LOVE and this LOVE was manifest in Jesus and is alive forever more as his Christ is allowed to live in you! Put God above all earthly love and true LOVE can begin to bloom and flourish! Christ in your marriage is the third cord that assures the bond will not break. Romantic love fades; true love increases from grace to grace, and glory to glory! All we need is God’s LOVE; everything else is just icing on the cake!!!

Amen and Amen, I have been seeking to put off the corruptible love of this world to put on the incorruptible love of Him. All for Him, Bro. Christophe
