Name Calling!

What does your name mean? Did you hear about the woman recently, last name Perdue, meaning “lost,” became lost after going to bed in a separate bedroom than her husband because she was sick? Did you know the name Sheila means blind and the only Sheila I know has troubles with her eyesight? Did you hear that two of the doctors who supposedly treated the Orlando gay nightclub Pulse victims were named Dr. Lube and Dr. Cheat-em? Did you know Jacob means “deceiver” and God changed his name to Israel? Do you know other examples of names acting as prophesy in lives?

Immanuel is “God with us,” Jesus is “salvation,” Christ is “anointed one,”  a lion is fierce, a lamb is meek and mild, a king has power and authority, a priest carries the presence of God, a son inherits his Father’s estate, a bride is equally yoked with her Bridegroom, etc.

What does the world call you? What does your culture call you? What does your religion, race consciousness or gender consciousness call you? What does your age group call you? What label or name has been put on you by others? What label or names have you put on yourself? tired, overworked, stressed, worried, depressed, grieving, confused, doubtful, fearful, ambivalent, sick, mental illness, physical illness, or religious, spiritual, agnostic, atheist, different, not fit in, rebellious, countercultural, radical, protestor, activist, truther, etc.

These mindsets, whether cultural, societal, religious, spiritual, racial, gender, or age/generational, are all of the world therefore they are a mixture of lies and truth and keep people from their highest potential. The only way to break through the glass ceiling of every worldly mindset is to come to the Messiah appointed for us and receive the name you had before the foundation of the earth.

We repent and turn to Christ and we exchange the world’s mindset and our own race’s consciousness, the spirit of error and mixed truth, for Christ’s Mind, the higher thoughts and ways of God. We renounce the lies of the world to receive the Spirit of Truth! Holy Spirit and fire! true Light to be light! Light forgives and forgives, 7 times 70! We are forgiven, redeemed, saved, healed, delivered, sanctified and set free as we learn from Jesus, yoked with him, in close relationship with him, walking in his light so we can see the pitfalls, hear the Counsel, perceive with our heart what to embrace and what to avoid, obeying the still small voice even when the world does not understand or even thinks you are crazy. You are in good company as the world and especially the religious, his home town people and even his family did not see who he really was!

Take courage! Take heart! Trust the One who is True and Trustworthy, step off the cliff of the world and let the King of kings and Lord of lords, who is Faithful and True, catch you and put you on the Rock-solid foundation of Christ rooted in the holy roots of the Vine and tree of life connecting heaven and earth! Receive the pure fresh Water of his Spirit; his Word will become flesh in you so you can grow up into his Head, his Mind, his Victory, his Victor’s Crown! We cast all our crowns: race, sex, age, nation, culture, religion, spirituality, and every other  mindset at the feet of God. Our Father gives us his Son’s Crown, Signet Ring, Robe of Righteousness, Garment of Praise (Judah means “praise”)  and sandals of Peace so you can walk in the New Jerusalem, the new heaven on earth!

Break free of the names and stories of your race, sex, age, culture, religion and spirituality. Your true identity is not victim, scapegoat, oppressor, persecutor, slave, male or female, black or white, Jew or Gentile. You are all one with our Father in Christ, therefore beyond distinctions or difference of the world of physical appearances; you are not of the world’s global consciousness; not of a world order, old or new; not of world religion; not a slave to elemental spirits of sun, moon, stars or planetary/universal consciousness. YOU are made in the image and likeness of God in Christ, of the Creator of heaven and earth not of the world of created things!

So we take off our death shrouds and put on Christ, resurrected Life, put on the armor of Light, and MOVE into the kingdom of the beloved Son! We begin to live, move and have our being in the twelve-rayed gemstone field of Christ in God! We arise and shine! We take the anointing, the sevenfold Spirit of Christ! We stop drinking the old mixed wine and take the pure, glory-filled, light-filled, love-filled WATER of life direct from the throne of God. We listen only to our Heavenly Father, no more worldly names and stories, lesser mindsets/consciousness that hold you down. We receive Christ’s Love, Light, Spirit, Glory and Fire of God!

In Christ we are called sons, brides, kings and priests of God in the kingdom of the beloved Son, NHONE!  We gladly take Christ’s new Name (Rev 3:12) with rejoicing as we wake up and realize we are co-heirs with Jesus, co-first-borns from the dead, and co-first fruits! Glory returns to our temple when we allow God to tabernacle in our temporary tent body, flowing with his River of Spirit!
