Drink it NEW in the kingdom of God

“Truly, I say to you, I shall not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God” Mark 14:25

“For I tell you I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God…from now on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes” Luke 22:16

“The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; not will they say, ‘Lo, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you or within you” Luke 17:20

“Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup which the Father has given me?” John 18:11

“Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?…The cup that I drink you will drink; and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized” Mark 10:38-39

It seems to me that we should only drink the cup of Jesus’ death UNTIL he reveals himself to us and baptizes us with the baptism he was baptized with: Holy Spirit and fire as a beloved son of God! co-heirs with Christ of the full inheritance of God! co-first-borns from the dead having our new identity in Christ!

“Come and have breakfast” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead” John 21:12-14

“If it is my will that John remain until I come, what is that to you?” John 21:22, 23 (TWICE for emphasis!)

“I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they SEE the kingdom of God” Luke 9:27

“Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power” Mark 9:1 “In this adulterous and sinful generation…he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels” Mark 8:38

“For the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom” Matthew 16:27-28

“Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” Matthew 24:34

“You have been born anew, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God…Come to him the living stone…and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house” 1 Peter 1:23-2:5

Heaven and earth was of Adam; we are of the new heaven and earth in Christ, Christ in you! our Father’s kingdom in you!

“I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom” Matthew 26:29

Jesus the Christ of God our Father, resurrected the kingdom of God, the garden paradise, the seed sowed in the ground (Jesus’ death) grew into a Vine of the tree of life when he resurrected and ascended back to heaven ultimately RECONNECTING heaven and earth anew! What was separated because of sin, was reunited in Christ’s death, resurrection, ascension and sending those who would receive the NEW FRUIT OF THE VINE, the Holy Spirit to drink as a RIVER of water of life that transforms our body into new wine, the marriage of our soul and His Christ Spirit, on Christ’s Vine, cared for by the Vinedresser as a new branch that bears Christ Fruit, the fruit of the Spirit!

Jesus drinks the Fruit of the Vine new in His kingdom in you!

“He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son” Colossians 1:13

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and EAT WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME. He who conquers, I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne” Revelation 3:20
