Do Clothes Make the Man?

Do clothes “make the man?” No, but God does!

“Put on the armor of light…put on the Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 13:11-14

Only God can clothe you with Christ Jesus and fill you with His Spirit! We can do nothing of our own will power, human might or strength. “Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord”

“The bride made herself ready [by believing and receiving Christ’s anointing, Spirit and covering/garments]; it was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure” Revelation 19:7

“Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Rev 19:9). We are invited by the Holy Spirit internally; it is not an external evite of the world! We are covered with Christ Light and our inner spirit man is filled and fulfilled, and we transform from the inside out under the shadow of the almighty wings and the son of righteousness rising within with healing in his wings!

Christ’s outer garment is four parts; his inner garment a seamless One! (John 19:23) In Christ we become God’s Spirit in our spirit and soul and body; Christ in us is one with the Father! “In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you” (John 14:20)

We put on the robe of righteousness, the garment of salvation, the armor of light, the whole armor of God: we put on Christ! We put on the white wedding garment!

We receive the Good News, the anointing of the Holy One, the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us, anoints us, brings good tidings to the afflicted, binds up the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives and opens the prison and removes the yokes and bondage to sin and death. The year of the Lord’s favor is proclaimed to us and the day of vengeance is replaced with the eternal Day of Christ. All who mourn are comforted, given a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit [Blessed are the poor in spirit for they will be filled with the Holy Spirit!]; that we may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified; ancient ruins rebuilt, raised up, repaired, carrying the Presence (manifest glory) of Christ, ministering Christ, fruiting Christ! spiritual fruit! In the wealth and riches of Christ we glory to the glory of our Father! Instead of shame we receive a double portion for our trouble, instead of dishonor we rejoice and receive a double portion of Christ (because he went to our Father); yours is everlasting JOY! Those who receive Christ are the blessed! “Blessed are those who stay awake keeping their Christ garment to not go naked and be seen exposed” (Rev 16:15). “Awake O sleeper and arise from the dead and Christ will give you Light” (Eph 5:14). “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness…for as the earth brings forth her shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth” Isaiah 61:1-11

Adam and Eve were clothed with the Spirit of God before the fall out, whereas they tried to cover themselves with leaves and God gave them animal skins, as they now reflected more of an animal nature rather than the image and likeness of God…

“But the Spirit of the LORD took possession of Gideon” Judges 6:34

God clothed Gideon with Himself! the “least and weakest” clothed with the Spirit of God did great exploits for the glory of God! But in the old covenant these were few and far between.

But after Christ, God is able if you are willing! “God is able, will make you worthy of HIS CALL and WILL FULFILL by HIS Power EVERY good resolve and work of faith [evidence of the unseen, substance of hope in you: Christ in you, clothed with his Spirit!]” 2 Thess 1:11

Jesus no longer resembled a human being on the cross, so that we can now resemble God in the image and likeness of Christ, in Christ, Christ in you!

“The Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon” (NIV) (KJV)

“The Spirit of the LORD took possession of Gideon” (NLT)

“The Spirit of the LORD clothed Gideon” (ESV) (Jubilee)

God clothed Gideon with Himself; now Christ will clothe you! “Put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph 4:24). “Christ’s body, the fullness of him who fills all in all” (Eph 1:23).  “Put off the old nature with its practices and put on the new nature, renewing after the image of its creator…here…Christ is all and in all” (Colo 3:9-11). “You have come to fullness of life in Him” (Colo 2:10).

In the fullness of time, Christ Jesus conquered, was glorified, and sends his glorified Spirit to all who ask and willingly receive it. “The marriage of the Lamb HAS COME” There is no time in God, all is NOW. “Go to the land I show you” Christ brought the new heaven to earth for us to possess! Don’t listen to the ten of twelve who gave a bad or negative report.

Are you willing to move in his Spirit? Take off your old garment (don’t patch it), remove it completely and put on the new garment of Christ Spirit (Light)! Stop drinking the old wine; let the Spirit of God form a new wineskin to pour his new wine into! The Potter recreates your clay into a new vessel resembling the Son! breathes new Life into you! and clothes you with Himself in Spirit! Put on the Christ garment of fire and receive Christ in you (glory)! “I will be a wall of fire round about and her glory within”

Take it by faith through grace! Arise, go! Arise, shine! God doesn’t give us the details just says, “go” and the details become apparent as we go in His Spirit! Open your mouth and let the Spirit of God fill it! Let God use your eyes, ears, mouth, hands, heart, mind, and feet to be like Christ. “As he is, so are we in the world” (1 John 4:17b). “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Be the salt and light of Christ! substance and Spirit!

Go deeper, go higher! Receive Christ’s anointing and be taught everything so you can know the Love of Christ and be filled with all the fullness of God! the height, depth, length, breadth! don’t just survive; begin to thrive and flourish with the Holy Spirit with, upon and in you! See (behold), receive, and reflect the Son, reflect his glory! to the glory of our Father!

Supernatural Wisdom is understanding of the spiritual truth beyond the natural. Begin to see from Christ, his holy, righteous, glorified Spirit within you, from the “one body and one Spirit” of Christ in God. The new creation has a new nature and new perspective of Christ in God! Begin to express from Christ, from the Holy Spirit within your innermost spirit man!

God is able and I am willing! I am willing to be the eyes, ears, mind, heart, hands and feet of Christ on earth as it is in heaven. I am willing for God to be able, in and through me; not by my power or might but by the Holy Spirit and Christ in me, through the Holy One anointing of Christ in me. “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”

The servant serves something outside himself. The bride makes herself ready (have the oil of the Holy Spirit) so when Christ knocks on the door of your heart, you hear and let him in to eat together, commune as one (ignite with the fire light of God; our soul set ablaze like a burning bush) and be granted to be clothed with Christ (Rev 19:8) and conquer to be granted to sit with Christ in heavenly places (Rev 3:21; Eph 2:6)

Yes God! I’ll have what Christ is having now and forever!!!!!!! Mind blowing free Gift!!!!!!! I get out of my mind and into His!!!!!!!
