Standing on Truth

At a workshop on trauma at a church, I once heard the speaker who had suffered great traumatic stress say, “don’t tell people God works everything out for good, they don’t want to hear that”

but I say when we stand on the Truth, Jesus is the Truth, we KNOW that in everything God works for good with those who love him and are called to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

When we stand on the Truth we are on the Rock that is higher than our circumstances and God reveals his unchanging Presence and Power in miraculous and surprising ways.

“The Way, the Truth, and the Life,” our Lord Jesus the Christ, is a sure and steadfast anchor for our soul behind the torn curtain, behind the veil, seated with Christ in heavenly places, able to rise with Christ in God to see the New Way beyond the wilderness; to perceive the River of Water of Life making new streams in the desert that grow the Kingdom of the Beloved Son into a New Tree of Life that bears New Christ Fruit: a new heaven on earth now and is to come from glory to glory, all for the Glory of God our Father.

“We were so utterly, unbearably crushed that we despaired of life itself. Why, we felt that we had received the sentence of death; but that was to make us rely NOT ON OURSELVES but on God who raises the dead; he delivered us…and he will deliver us; on him we have set our hope and he will deliver us again..so that you might have a double pleasure…in the Son of God, Jesus Christ…it is ALWAYS yes and amen” 2 Corinthians 8-22

“I will restore what the locust has taken…God has dealt wondrously with you…You shall know I am in the  midst of you” Joel 2:25-27

“Instead of shame you shall have a double portion, instead of dishonor you shall rejoice in your lot; therefore in your land [consciousness] you shall possess a double portion; yours shall be everlasting joy” Isaiah 61:7

“Count it all joy when you meet various trials, for you KNOW that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its FULL EFFECT, that you may be perfect [in the eyes of God through Christ] and complete, lacking nothing” James 1:2-4

“You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you” Isaiah 43:4

God says, “I lead you out in Peace and you go forth in Joy in Christ. I will never leave you nor forsake you; I am with you always and I have overcome all sin, death, the devil and the world. In Christ you are delivered from the dominion of darkness and transferred to the Kingdom of the Beloved Son. Only strive to enter my Rest; I will fight your battles. In me you will find rest for your soul and the peace that passes all understanding.”
