Abba Father, I thank you today for your perfect Fathering in which we can trust, take refuge and rest. Thank you for drawing your children back to you who have been deceived, kept asleep, are rebellious out of ignorance or because of life circumstances that they did not understand.
“See that you do not despise one of these lost ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven…He leaves the ninety-nine in search of the one that went astray…It is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of the lost should perish” ~Jesus the Christ
“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers” Malachi 4:6
“Remember then from what you have fallen, repent [change your mind] and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove the lampstand from you, unless you repent [have a change of heart, come to your spiritual senses]…To those who conquer I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God” Revelation 2:2-7
Return to the Father through the open Door of Jesus and he will return to you. Draw close to the Father and he will draw close to you. God is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
“But when he came to himself he said, ‘I will arise and go to my Father, and I will say to Him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you…’ And He arose and came to his Father. But while he was yet at a distance, his Father saw him and had compassion and ran and embraced him and kissed him…He received him safe and sound…Son you are always with Me, and all that is Mine is yours. Make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is now alive; he was lost and now he is found” Luke 15:11-32
“Fear not little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” Luke 12:32
“Father of the fatherless and protector of widows, is God in his holy habitation. God gives the desolate a home to dwell in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land…Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation…He gives power and strength to his people” Psalm 68
Thank you Abba Father for loving us even before we could love you, others or ourselves. We come back to our First Love today and every day and receive all the good endowments and every perfect gift coming down from the Father of Glory. We open to receive the King of Glory with clean hands and pure heart, washed in the blood of the Lamb of God. “Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in…the LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle! The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory!” Psalm 24:3-10
“So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” 1 John 4:16
