Christ, the fullness of God, is the ultimate Gift that only our Source of Life, our Father of Glory, can give us because of what Jesus did for all; paid the price in full. We give Jesus our sin, death and identity in fallen Adam and he gives us his righteousness, kingdom life and new identity in Christ of God. We are invited to come to Christ, yoke, learn “the two become one” and find rest in God for our hearts, minds and will (Matthew 11:28-29). Rest for our soul is true peace.
Corporately we are in travail until Christ be formed in “the full number of Gentiles” who are to come into the kingdom of God and His righteousness. “Understand this mystery, brethren: a hardening has come upon part of Israel until the full number of Gentiles come in…as regards the gospel they are enemies of God for our sake…for God has consigned all men to disobedience that he may have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways…for from him and through him and to him are ALL things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen” Romans 11:25-36
Brethren, by the mercies of God, present your living bodies as spiritual worship, in Spirit and in Truth, as the Holy Spirit is sent to be upon, with and inhabit us and fill our body temples with the glory light, the lamp of the Lamb turned on within us.
God’s Spirit is poured upon all our flesh, we are clothed with Christ, so we no longer need to conform to the world, but transform into the likeness of Christ by taking the renewing Mind of Christ, just one of the myriad endowments and perfect gifts that come down from heaven out of the Father of Glory, brought forth by the Word of Truth (Romans 12:1-2; James 1:16-18), the Word of Power (Hebrews 1:3), the Living Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12; John 1:1-17) that pierces through our defenses, opens and bares the thoughts and intentions of the heart, so we can receive the new garments of salvation and righteousness of the Bride, the wife of the Lamb. To God be all glory, majesty, dominion, authority, power, might, honor, thanksgiving, and blessing; before all time, and now and forever. Amen.
Through the “heavenly call” we receive Christ who was appointed “heir of all things” and whom reflects the glory of God, shares His Nature, upholds the universe with His Word of Power, having become superior to angels, “obtaining the name” more excellent than theirs” (Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 1:1-14).
In the old covenant the angel of the Lord or the angel of the presence would come to select individuals. In the new covenant between the Father and the Son, all who come to Jesus can receive ALL things of God as co-heir with Christ.
Amazing but True, the free gifts of grace, glory, the kingdom of God and His righteousness are just a foretaste of the things to come that the unbeliever’s eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor heart conceived what God has prepared for those who love him (1 Cor 2:9). “Holy Spirit imparts a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification…God reveals to believers through the Spirit.” We comprehend the thoughts of God only through His Spirit. “He who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him” (1 Cor 6:17). “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God so we can understand the gifts bestowed on us by God…the Mind of Christ given to believers can know the mind of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 2:7-16).
Amazing Awe, Wonder, and Miracles come with the river of water of life from the throne of God. The glory has the “voice of many waters flowing” and Christ’s Spirit River flowing into our spirit and soul and body brings life to every place it touches (Ezekiel 43:2; Ezekiel 47:9; John 17:22; Revelation 22:1-5, 17).
Take it and reflect the glory of Christ in the Father, in you (Revelation 22:17; John 17:1-26). Amazing Grace and Glory.
“Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion…do not go astray in your hearts and not know the Way. They will NEVER enter my rest. Take care, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the LIVING God…we share IN CHRIST if only we hold to our first confidence firm to the end” (Hebrews 3:7-16). Unbelief keeps you from entering God’s Rest now.
