Trusting

The only thing we can trust in this world is Jesus, who came into the world so we can “come out of her” (Revelation 18:4) into the Kingdom of God: righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit; the mindset of Christ that is renewing and transforming.

Thank God for Jesus; the Lamb who took away the sin of the world so we can stop falling short of the glory by coming to Christ and taking the glory He gives (John 17:22) to live, move and have our being in the glory, in the presence, Christ in us.

All my thanksgiving is to God our Father through Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit sent to help, comfort, heal, deliver, set free by teaching us what Jesus taught, anoint, guide, counsel, and lead us out of the world where the father of lies, the god of this world rules over those ignorant of the finished work of the Cross; keeping them in the dark and teaching them to be their own gods (ends very badly); who blinds minds and eyes to the light of the gospel of glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God (His kingdom never ends, increases; ends VERY GOOD).

“Children, it WAS the last hour [in John the Beloved’s day]…but if you have been anointed by the Holy One, you know the Truth and know no lie is of the Truth [Jesus is the Truth]…I write this about those who would deceive you; but the anointing which you receive from God abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is True, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in Christ” 1 John 2:18-27

Abide in Christ and Christ in you; the Spirit of the Lord upon you. “As the Father sent me, so I send you” John 20:21

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon you, because the Lord has anointed you to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent you to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn–a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit; that we might be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that God may be glorified;…built up…raised up…repaired…fed…called priests of the Lord…eat the wealth of the nations, and in their riches you shall glory. Instead of your shame you have a double portion, instead of dishonor you have joy and rejoice…possess a double portion…everlasting joy. For the Lord loves justice and hates robbery and wrong; God faithfully gives recompense, and an everlasting covenant with Himself through and in Christ…greatly rejoice in the Lord, your soul shall exult in God; for He clothes you with the garments of salvation, He covers you with the robe of righteousness…as a bride…the Lord God causes righteousness and praise to spring forth in your garden where Abba Father sows Christ in you” Isaiah 61:1-11

Can we trust those, who, by their fruit, live in Jesus? Maybe faith in Jesus is THE start, but it is intended to lead us to faith in others, who have also passed through that start? Is not our destiny that we all live as one, in Him, and in each other?

Glad to see you posting a bit more again. You are loved and have been missed and in my prayers. You remain a very special light in the sometimes darkness.

    • I would say faith in Christ is everything; the evidence of the unseen; the assurance of hope; where we receive divine approval and are recreated out of what is unseen; made the righteousness of God in Christ; and receive all the fulfilled promises of God as God saw something better for us: we enter into Christ and Christ enters into us making us a new creature of the new creation under the better covenant between Father and Son (Hebrews 11:1-40). All glory to God our Father and his Lamb!
