“Our God is a consuming fire” Hebrews 12:29

John the baptist baptized with water; ascended, glorified Jesus baptizes with Holy Spirit and fire. The fire of God consumes satan’s tree of the knowledge of good and evil within, root to branches, so that the Word of God, life and Spirit, can grow Christ’s tree of life within, to fruit Christ in us through the Holy Spirit and river of water of life; the water of God’s Presence.

Breathe on Me, Breath of God by Edwin Hatch, 1878:

Breathe on me, Breath of God, fill me with life anew, that I may love what Thou dost love, and do what Thou wouldst do.

Breathe on me, Breath of God, until my heart is pure, until with Thee I will Thy will, to do and to endure.

Breathe on me, Breath of God, till I am wholly Thine, till all this earthly part of me glows with Thy fire divine.

Breathe on me, Breath of God, so shall I never die, but live with Thee the perfect life of Thine eternity.

The fire of God destroys all that is not of Christ of God within; brings life and life abundant to those who belong to Christ Jesus. We continually come to Christ, yoke, learn, rest our soul in God our Father, as the Holy Spirit and fire restore all things the thief stole, killed, and destroyed in our lives; working all things together for good in those who love God and are called to his purpose.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 4:24

We worship God in Spirit and Truth; laying down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe, wonder, and glorious, miraculous renewal and regeneration of the image and likeness of God in Christ and Christ in you. The Bride keeps herself ready by staying open to heaven, Jesus the Door dwelling in her heart, continually filling with the Holy Spirit oil and holy fire of His presence, the glory. The inner lamp is the Lamb of God; light shining in the darkness.

  1. Yes, we must glow, shine with the Spirit fire of our Maker, our Redeemer. Too many around us are lost and wander through their days until they run out of time. We should burn with compassion and seek openings to share, plant and water seeds as the Shepherd guides us. Hopefully a remnant will yet be harvested in our confused and distracted country. Thank you for your clear voice.
