It Wasn’t An Apple

When people believe what has been told to them, the passing on of traditions instead of going directly to the Living One yourself, beliefs are a mixture of lies and truth, darkness mixed with light; feeding off of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and calling it good. Reading the old testament is a true testament of humans getting their life’s nourishment from tainted fruit; it leads to abominations and death.

What may look really good can cause the greatest destruction when it is not sourced from God who created heaven and earth, and created humans in God’s image and likeness. Now humans have made god in their image and likeness, and turned many from knowing the real, living Christ, the Holy One, the exact image and likeness of God, the Son, the Messiah who was sent for all, who was, and is and is to come.

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come, holy, holy, holy”

Darkness disguised as light is the most subtle deception, as are its “servants of righteousness” who are not of Christ of God our Father. They are fathered by the father of  lies, counterfeiting Christ, teaching what they have been taught from parents, teachers or spiritual leaders who are deceived. Pure evil is easy to see as evil, unless one is fed a steady diet of it from the time one is born in this world. Discernment of spirits is a gift of the Spirit of God.

What a wicked game, the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, who lies and deceives, to keep you from coming to Jesus, coming to life and life abundant. Read through the new testament of Jesus, asking God to give you understanding, and the Holy Spirit can open you eyes to see, ears to hear, and heart to spiritually perceive. Someone said no one can read through the New Testament twice without experiencing or encountering Jesus.

“Come to Me, you who are tired and heavy-laden with burdens you were never meant to carry, and I will give you rest. Yoke to Me and learn from Me for my heart is tender, compassionate, and humble and you will find rest for your soul. My burden is easy and My yoke is light”

“Come and see”

“Come and drink of Me and out of you will flow rivers of living water”

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come” and let those who hear say, “Come” and those who thirst come, and those who desire the REAL take the water of life without price (Revelation 22:17).

It is easy enough now to see the weeds from the Vine so we can go to the root of the weeds and pull them up, by the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit, whom only God can send to you through the finished work of the Cross of Jesus. We can do nothing apart from Christ. Ask and receive. Only the Vine of Christ produces the fruit of God our Father, giving pure, unadulterated life. The Holy Spirit keeps us on the Vine when we come to Jesus and remain; continuing to eat and drink of the Word and Spirit of God: the Living River from the Throne, life and Spirit sent down out of heaven from God to heal, deliver, set free and lead you as a son of God by the Spirit of God.

“Come out of her, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues”

Come to Jesus, our Living Hope; Christ in you, the hope of glory.

True, it wasn’t an apple. The fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is that we then have the ability to judge, and then we place ourselves in the position of God, judging others. This is the great sin.

The door to heaven, which according to Genesis ;7-8 is located right here on Earth, between the water above, (clouds) and water below (ground water) is to have a broken heart and a contrite spirit.

When bad things happen to good people, this is often God breaking hearts that refuse to be broken in any other way.

Repent, let your heart be broken every singe day. And you will realize that the very air you breathe, and have always breathed, and will always breathe, is the very Spirit of the Living God, even Jesus Christ.

    • yes God, repentance leads to forgiveness that leads to freedom in relationship with God; so thankful, grateful and appreciative for the glory of Christ and breath of Life in the Spirit, moment to moment in His presence is precious beyond words
