Where Does Our Help Come From?

Where does our help come from?

It comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber or sleep” Psalm 121:1-3

All power and authority in heaven and on earth is given to Jesus, the Christ, for finishing the work of the Cross. That means the enemy has none; he is all smoke and mirrors; lying, counterfeiting, deceiving, tricking you into giving him your power.

The Name of Jesus is exalted above every  name that can be named; he endured the Cross for the Joy and he gives you his Joy by giving you his resurrection Spirit. He is the eternal Door to our Heavenly Father; the Way, sent to make a way where there is no way. Jesus lives forever to make intercession for us as High Priest in the order of Melchizedek, and his Holy Spirit intercedes within us 24/7 beyond words. Our “job” is to come to Christ and give our all for His All.

Submit to God and resist the devil.

When we come to Christ we exchange our old life for His resurrected life. God our Father sends the Holy Spirit to be our Helper, Husbandman, Guide, Counsel, Wisdom, Teacher, Counselor, Advocate, and Fire Power to sustain what only God can give us through Jesus; to embody and empower us by the Holy Spirit and fire that dissolves the old and forms the new. Our “job” is to simply believe; God does the work in us until it is complete. We take it by faith for faith: the evidence of the unseen, the substance of hope. Only the Father knows how long it will take, as God works in us to fulfill His plans and purposes for His creation, and our unique piece of the tapestry of life. Free will allows us to resist, even quench the Holy Spirit. Do not quench the Holy Spirit! humble yourself and yield to our Eternal Father.

“If Christ abides in you and His Words abide in you, ask and receive, for the glory of God” John 15:7

“All things are possible for those who believe” Mark 9:23

With God all things are possible. Yield to the Holy Spirit, pray in the Spirit, walk in the Spirit and be led by the Holy Spirit into all that is good, true, and righteous. Hunger and thirst for righteousness and you will be satisfied. The kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. You must be born again of the Water of Life and Spirit to see and enter the kingdom of God as a child, born anew from Above.

“Do not be deceived. Every good endowment and every perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights” James 1:16-17

Jesus is the light of the world with no part dark; without the resurrected, ascended, glorified Christ there would be no true light in the world; only darkness disguised as light. Come to the Light; come to the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the likeness of God. “Awake O sleeper, and arise from the dead and Christ will give you light” (Ephesians 5:14). The more that come and receive, the less dark it will be!

Jesus is the Holy One who overcame all darkness with His Resurrected Light; we come to Christ to be delivered from the dominion of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of the Beloved Son, to be as Christ is in this world, as we conquer and are seated in heavenly places with Christ, as he conquered and sits with His Father.

“And you he makes alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sin in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Among these we all once lived in the flesh, following the desires of the old nature: children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. BUT GOD! who is rich in mercy, out of the GREAT LOVE with which He loves us, even when we are dead through our trespasses, MAKES US ALIVE TOGETHER WITH CHRIST (by grace we are saved; by faith you take what has been given and make it real in you), AND RAISES US UP WITH HIM to sit in heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS” Ephesians 2:1-6

“Come out of this world, lest you take part in her sins” Revelation 18:4
