“Those who conquer have this heritage” Revelation 21:7
Those who conquer unbelief have the heritage of Christ Jesus of God.
Resurrected Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene; she was sent to tell the eleven. She found them mourning and weeping but when they heard that Jesus was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it. Then he appeared in another form to two walking into the country. And they went back and told the rest, but again they did not believe them. Jesus then appeared to the eleven themselves. “He upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned” Mark 16:9-16
Those who conquer unbelief will have the heritage of God as co-heirs with Christ.
“He who conquers shall have this heritage, and I will be his God and he shall be my son” Revelation 21:7
The “heritage” is the fountain of water of life without payment and the “all things” God makes new (Revelation 21:1-7).
“BUT as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, as for murderers, fornicators [sexual sin], sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death” Revelation 21:8
“Because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts. Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you” John 16:6-7
When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, he first convicts of sin because of unbelief in Jesus. Then he convicts believers of righteousness, and lastly he convicts of judgment because he judges the ruler of this world. Those who continue to believe in what this world is “selling” will end up judged with the ruler of this world, but all who come to Jesus, repent and return to the Father, reconciled by the Blood of the Cross of Jesus, receive the Holy Spirit to convict you of the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
When we choose to abide in Christ and Christ in us by the Power of the Holy Spirit, believe and receive, take the Word by faith through grace and keep it, we are kept from the hour of trial that is coming upon the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth (Revelation 3:10).
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my Word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life” John 5:24
“God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved THROUGH HIM. He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil and they don’t want what they do exposed by the Light” John 3:17-21
Jesus warns us what will happen if we choose to believe this world instead of believing the Father. He also warns us of false religion, counterfeit spirituality, satan disguising himself as an angel of light and those who pretend to be of Christ but are servants of satan in Christianity, of the synagogue of satan in Judaism, or pretending to be a religion of peace but really acting from antichrist spirits sent from the enemy of God. “They will kill you and think they are offering service to God” John 16:2b. “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to give you life and life abundant.”
“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead and Christ will give you light” Ephesians 5:14
Outside of Christ, apart from Christ, are the “dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.” Revelation 22:15
“Apart from Christ you can do nothing”
“With Christ you can do all things in him who strengthens you”
“All things are possible to those who believe”
“With God, all things are possible”
Apart from God, you are double-minded, unstable and receive nothing from God (James 1:7-8), choosing or settling for the “things of satan” that look good but cause you great harm (Revelation 2:21-29); satan’s plans and purposes are to steal your identity, kill and destroy you and those you love.
But to those who believe Jesus, the Lord works with you and confirms his message with signs that attend it. These signs will accompany those who believe in the Name above every name that can be named, Jesus: cast out demons, speak in new languages, not harmed by things of this world, lay hands on the sick and see them recover (Mark 16:17-18).
“Do not fear; only believe” Mark 5:36
Believe Jesus; agree with God; take the water of life without price and Christ will become a fountain of life within and from you.
