Is This Your Story?

“Do not conform to this world” Romans 12:2

It is a choice to follow Jesus, no longer following this world and influencers. It is a free will choice to come to Christ to abide in the place prepared for us in Christ (John 17:24), and ask to receive Christ in you (Colossians 1:27), to be under the Government of Christ Jesus (Isaiah 9:6-7), led by the Holy Spirit, no longer under the influence of this world and the old soul nature.

We yield, surrender control, to the Holy Spirit who is able to dissolve the old and form the new, so we can stay reconciled, restored, refreshed, washed, regenerated, renewed, rejuvenated, rebuilt as a temple of God where the Holy Spirit dwells within. God our Father is Sovereign and we are sovereign when we return to receive our robe of righteousness, signet ring of sonship, and sandals when Jesus washes our feet, the point of contact with this world. Jesus told the disciples if they did not let him wash their feet they could have no part in Him. Since evil, darkness and the devil can have no part in Christ, in Christ is the only place I want to be.

God sent Jesus, His Word made flesh, to save, heal, deliver and set us free by the finished work of the Cross, the Blood of the Lamb that takes away all our sin. The Holy Spirit keeps us from falling short of the glory when we become sensitive to the Spirit of God’s leading. Now in Christ and Christ in you there is light without any darkness at all, love without harm, all “holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come, holy, holy, holy” while in this world there is darkness and thick darkness the people (Isaiah 60:2).

Ask the Father for the Holy Spirit (Matthew 7:7-11). The Holy Spirit helps, teaches, guides, counsels, and keeps us in the Way, Truth, and Life of God, who becomes our Source in Christ Jesus. Apart from Christ we are still in and of the world; in Christ and Christ in you, we are a part of the kingdom of God and his righteousness, under the Lordship of Jesus, under the Kingship of the King of kings and Lord of lords: the Word, the Faithful, True, Righteousness of God (Revelation 19:11-16).

“Sing a new song…The Lamb ransomed us for God from every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and hast made us a kingdom and priests to our God, and we shall reign on earth” Revelation 5:9-10

In Christ and Christ in you, God’s glory is your light within, the Lamb your lamp within (Revelation 21:23). We awake from sleep, arise from the dead in the second birth, and Christ gives us His Light. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gives himself for me” Galatians 2:20. “Far be it for me to glory except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world…a new creation” Galatians 6:14-15. “Therefore if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself” 2 Cor 5:17-18. “Do not conform to this world, but be transformed” Romans 12:2

“The bride makes herself ready” (Revelation 19:7b). By the glorious, victorious, pure Blood of the Lamb, slaves transform into royal sons, who mature into kings, priests and brides, in Christ and Christ in you. “Conquer and be granted to sit with Me on My throne, as I myself conquered and sit at My Father’s Throne” Revelation 3:21

Jesus is Salvation, he says, “Come to Me” (Matthew 11:28-30), then we have to work out our own salvation with trembling and reverential awe; work out what God works in us (Philippians 2:12). Ask, receive; seek, find. Cast out demons by the Spirit of God so the kingdom of God can come upon you (Matthew 12:28). Yield to the Holy Spirit and fire to shake all that can be shaken, leaving only the kingdom of God and his righteousness in us. “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:25-28). We give our living body as spiritual sacrifice (Romans 12:1), emptying our body of our old nature to be filled in Spirit and in Truth in the glory of Christ’s Presence, to dissolve the old in the holy fire and form the new in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit in you.

“I am in travail until Christ be formed in you” Galatians 4:19

Come to the assembly of the first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to a judge who is God of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of the New Covenant…See that you do not refuse the Blood of Jesus that is speaking today. For if they did not escape when they refused Jesus who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape if we reject Him who warns from heaven” Hebrews 12:18-29

Baptized in Love by the Holy Spirit and fire, we can know the Love of Christ and be filled with all the fullness of God, power working in us greater than we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:19-21). This changes our whole perspective, so we can begin to spread the good news of the kingdom of God and his righteousness that we carry within, to those still in darkness.

“I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” John 8:12

“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wondrous deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were no people but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy” 1 Peter 2:9-10

“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us into his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruptions that are in the world, and become partakers of the divine nature” 2 Peter 1:3-4
