The Gift that keeps on Giving

God gave us the Gift of Jesus, born into the world of darkness, the true light that enlightens all who come to Jesus (John 1:9), the light of life in Christ, the Holy One Anointed, the River of Water of Life that becomes a Fountain of Life in you to flow rivers of Christ’s glory presence through you.

The Gift of Jesus, asked, received with thanksgiving, made manifest, is the Gift that keeps giving and is worthy of regifting.

The Gift from God, received and enthroned in your heart, becomes the three witnesses in you: The Blood of the Lamb, The Water of Life, and The Spirit of God (1 John 5:8) that removes our old nature, sin, death, darkness, falling short of the glory; destroying the works of the devil and forming Christ in you.

“I am in travail until Christ be formed in you”

The thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to give you life and life abundant, the Gift that keeps on giving: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life. In Christ and Christ in you, the Word is fulfilled.

“Abide in Me, and I in you” John 15:4

The Word is the Gift that keeps on giving: the life and Spirit of God that keep on giving.

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God” John 1:1

The Word is King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:11-16), Faithful and True and Righteous that the holy angel armies hear, hearken and perform.

The Lamb has overcome the world; those with the Lamb are called and chosen and faithful co-conquerors (Revelation 17:14). “Little children, you are of God [in Christ], and have overcome them [antichrist spirits in the world]; for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Now the Lamb is the Shepherd who leads you to the the springs of living water (Revelation 7:17) so you can drink and be awake, strengthen, healed, delivered and set free.

“Christ removes the veil…turn to the Lord and the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And we all with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into His likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit” 2 Cor 3:12-18

Abba Father, thank you for the Gift of the Word, the daily living Bread (substance) of Christ and continuous living, flowing, powerful, light-filled, Christ-filled, glory-filled, presence-filled River of Life (Spirit and fire) from the Father and His Lamb. The Word is the Sword of the Spirit that separates us from bondage to the old nature, slays with the Breath of Holy Spirit, a Rod that destroys evil; removing the old and forming the new of Christ (Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 19:13-16).

The Gift of God is the Son of Righteousness, Who can keep you the righteousness of God in Christ when you receive Christ in you by faith. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things are added unto you.” The Kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). The Holy Spirit is the New Gift that keeps giving Christ in you, so you have something holy and pure to give; new wine into new wineskin bodies; the River from the Throne continuously received through the Open Door of Christ in you, so you have the Gifts to regift to this dark world ruled by the god of this world, the spirit of error that blinds minds from the good news of the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the likeness of God (2 Cor 4:4). The glory of the gospel is the transcendent power of God we carry in our earthen vessels to give glory to God our Father.

The Gift that keeps giving is Jesus who never changes (Hebrews 13:8); Christ who remains forever (John 12:34) the Gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving, never expecting anything in return. God our Eternal Father is love itself, pouring into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5); not how this world defines love that harms human beings, but the true Definition of pure, holy, harmless Love that saves, heals, delivers and sets human beings free.

Know the Truth and the Truth sets you free. “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; come to the Father through Me, so the Father can give you the Holy Spirit through Me.” “I am the Door.”

Receive the Gift of Life. “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead and Christ will give you Light.” “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes God who sent Me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life” (John 5:24). Receive the Gift of Light and declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous Light (1 Peter 2:9). “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). “Give thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12). Receive the Gift of Love. “Know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him…as He is so are we in this world” (1 John 4:16-17).

Receive the Gift of Spirit. “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the Gifts bestowed on us by God” (1 Cor 2:12. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24). We give our living body in spiritual worship; we receive the Gifts from the Father of glory: transformation, changed into the image and likeness of the Son (Romans 12:1-2, 8:29-30; James 1:17-18; 2 Cor 3:18).

In Christ we can receive the Gifts of Salvation, Redemption, Sanctification, Righteousness, Prophesy, Faith, Healing, working of Miracles, Words of Wisdom, Words of Knowledge, Discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation, every good endowment, every perfect gift, equipping, anointing, teaching, encouragement, help, strength, comfort, fellowship with the HolySpirit, revelation, inspiration, fire power, good tidings of great joy, peace on earth good will toward men; the Way, the Truth and the Life of God now and is to come, from faith to faith, grace upon grace and glory to glory.

“This is the revelation of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries]. God gave it to Him to disclose and make known to His bond servants certain things which must shortly and speedily come to pass in their entirety. And He sent and communicated it through His angel (messenger) to His bond servant John Who has testified to and vouched for all that he saw [in his visions], the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ” Revelation 1:1-2 AMPC

“Make the Word fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now made manifest to his saints. To those in Christ, God chooses to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of glory of this mystery which is Christ in you…to present every one mature in Christ…receive Christ Jesus The Lord, live in Christ, rooted and built up in Christ and established in The Faith, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one makes prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit according to human traditions, according to the elemental spirits of the universe that keep you in bondage to this world, and not according to Christ. For in Him the whole fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and you come to fullness of life IN CHRIST, who is the HEAD of all rule and authority…Be buried with Jesus in baptism (Water AND Spirit of Life), in which you are ALSO RAISED WITH CHRIST through FAITH in the WORKING OF GOD” Colossians 1:25b-2:20

The gift of Faith is precious because it is impossible to please God without faith: substance of hope, evidence of the unseen. All things are possible to those who believe Jesus. Receive the Gift that keeps on giving.

Jesus is the Gift for every heart, fulfilling and satisfying like no other.
