Righteousness Exalts a Nation

“Righteousness exalts a nation” Proverbs 14:34

Righteousness is right standing with God. Righteousness is right positioning of our heart, humbled before God, the Creator of heaven and earth, praying, interceding, asking for mercy for those who are ignorant or deceived by the father of lies; praying for our promised land: a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells.

The Holy Spirit first convicts of sin to those who remain in unbelief. The only response is to repent: turn from the ways that seem right to a man that lead to destruction, and turn to Jesus to return to God to receive the Holy Spirit to live with and in you; even the Spirit of Truth Who guides you into all truth so you won’t be deceived any longer, falling for the father of lies, who is gleeful when you fall short of the glory.

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of His glory with rejoicing, to the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time, and now, and forever. Amen” Jude 1:24-25

Secondly, the Holy Spirit convicts of righteousness, because Jesus resurrected from the dead as The Messiah and sits at the right hand of God our Father, ruling and reigning, having been given all power and authority in heaven and on earth, that is given to those who come to Christ to govern our spirit and soul and body and life. We take His righteousness by faith (Romans 1:16-17) and begin to live in right relationship with God through Christ by the Holy Spirit.

“God makes His appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled with God. For our sake, God made Jesus to be sin who knew no sin, so that IN HIM we might become the righteousness of God…we entreat you to accept the grace of God…Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of Salvation…the Weapons of Righteousness for the right hand and the left” 2 Corinthians 5:20-6:7

The Holy Spirit, thirdly, judges the ruler of this world, “Come out of her lest you take part in her sins; lest you share in her plagues” Revelation 18:4. This world is the dwelling place of demons and the haunt of foul spirits promising false peace; fallen angels disguised as light; false servants disguising themselves as servants of righteousness who prey on souls. Their end will correspond to their deeds (2 Corinthians 11:12-15). Come to Christ and do not come into judgment but pass from death to life (John 5:24). Believe and receive Christ in you by faith through grace and be a new city of God (bride) set on the hill of Christ, shining and radiating the Light of Christ to a dark world and thick darkness her people.

“Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me” (Jesus in John 6:45)

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life” (Jesus in John 5:24)

Righteousness exalts a nation. The humble are exalted in Christ and Christ in you. God is our source of new life, through Christ, whom God made our wisdom, our righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Cor 1:30).

There is no righteousness apart from Christ. “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to give life and life abundant: fullness of resurrection Life (John 10:10). What the enemy meant for evil, God can turn to good, if you let him. I pray that all do. Vote for life; vote for righteousness; pray for our President and all elected officials; pray for our nation, that all will humble themselves and repent; pray that those who are called by His name humble themselves and pray and seek God’s face (presence) and turn from their sinful ways that lead to death and destruction, receive forgiveness of sins and be healed, delivered and set free (2 Chronicles 7:14; Colossians 1:13-14).

Ask God to open your eyes to see what He sees; ask God to open your ears to hear His Voice, and open your heart to let the conditioning of this world be cut out, and the Way, Truth, and Life of God come in and change everything from upside down and backwards to upright. Righteousness exalts a nation; sin destroys a nation.

If you continue to worship manmade idols you put above God, “gods and lords” of this earth, elemental spirits of this universe, philosophy, traditions of men, doctrines of demons, STOP (Colossians 2:2-23).

Thank you. Would that this Word could be given in pulpits all across the land.

The Lord put it on my heart decades ago that what is passing itself off as Christianity in America had better change, and soon. Instead, Unreal Christianity has dug in its heels all the more but learned the awesome concept of doing it with a happy face. What an easy trick this is when dealing with those who have no love for truth. There are certainly good and happy people and ministers who are properly reflecting the Lord but the real ones have the Lord’s power to go with the spiritual fruit. Transforming Christianity into an enterprise using business methods has made for some strange doings. It’s a carnival and a circus. I could say more but you get my drift.

Loved the last paragraph (STOP). Preach on my sister. That’s me standing up cheering you on.
    Blessings to you.
