“Your Presence is an open Door, we need You Lord, like never before”
In the storm we ask and receive; seek and find; knock and the Door opens.
In the storm you draw near to God and he draws near to you.
In the storm, we need to take refuge.
“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am gentle, compassionate, humble-hearted, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light” Matthew 11:28-29
In the storm we need to know where the storm is coming from. The root of all hatred and evil is sin; the cause of evil is separation from God, and apart from Christ you can do nothing. Ask for Wisdom from Above and God gives generously. A double minded person receives nothing from the Lord (James 1:4-8). You do not have because you do not ask; you do not receive because you ask apart from Christ and his righteousness. Those who have the Son have eternal life now and is to come; those who have not the Son have not life. Eternal life matters; being in Christ and Christ in you is essential.
The battle is not against “flesh and blood” not with people but contending against “spiritual hosts of wickedness in the fallen heavenly places” so all of you who are blaming others are missing the boat: in relation-ship with Christ of God our Father you love God and love others; apart from Christ you blame others for what is in your own unredeemed heart; only Jesus can redeem our hearts, purify, refine and make our souls white as snow in the Blood. The heart is the issue; the heart is the matter; changing your heart from the world system to the pure heart in Christ and Christ in you is the answer, the solution, as every problem, time of trouble, every issue of life proceeds from the heart; the Solution proceeds from God’s heart, giving us the Son, the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior, the Healer, the Deliverer to free us from bondage to sin, death and the works of the devil; uniting us with the Son by the Holy Spirit and fire baptism of Jesus to be sons led by the Holy Spirit and maturing into brides joined to the King of kings and Lord of lords in the Father’s House. “The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous will stand” Proverbs 12:7
In the storm, in the battle against evil and its darkness and sin, we need to know the weapons to use.
Our weapons are not physical. “For though we live in the world, we are not carrying on a worldly war, for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy satan’s strongholds. We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God and his glory, and take every thought captive to obey Christ…Look what is before your eyes. If any one is confident that he is Christ’s, let him remind himself” that Jesus already “canceled the bond along with its legal demands, nailing it to the Cross; disarming the principalities and powers.” God triumphed over them in Christ; therefore, when you abide in Christ and Christ in you, you have no open door to evil and satan; they have no right to your spirit and soul and body and life, but if you do not know your identity in Christ nor the inheritance as co-heir with Christ, then you fall prey to the schemes and devices of wickedness of the “sons of disobedience influenced by the power of the air” instead of using the spiritual weapons God gives you through Christ Jesus: the Word, the Sword of the Spirit.
If you don’t know God and his glory; if you don’t know the finished work of the Cross of Jesus; if you don’t know why God sent him to earth, who God is and who you are in God in Christ, then repent, turn from this fallen, broken, dark world system to Jesus, and take what is “at hand” and receive it in your heart; a changed heart and a righteous spirit changes your life. Your life either is “fruiting” the Light of Christ in you or the darkness of demon spirits in you. Righteous, resurrected Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene from whom he cast out seven demons (Mark 16:9). God confirms His Word with signs (16:16-20).
The righteous are delivered from death; blessings are upon their heads. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. The desires of the righteous are granted; the righteous established in God forever. The hope of the righteous ends in gladness; the Lord is the Stronghold to the upright. The righteous will never be moved. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are taken captive by their lust and pride; the expectations of the godless come to nought. The righteous are delivered from trouble; the wicked get into trouble instead. With their mouth the godless destroy, but by knowledge of God and his glory, the righteous are delivered. The righteous will never be removed or moved. The Lord is the Stronghold to those who are upright. The hope of the righteous ends in gladness. Be assured, an evil man will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will be delivered. The desire of the righteous ends only in good. The root of the righteous will never be moved. The root of the righteous stands firm. The righteous flourish like a green leaf; the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life When it goes well with the righteous the city rejoices; by the blessing of the upright a city is exalted. Righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 10:2-14:34).
The Holy Root is Jesus; the Righteous One is Jesus; the Holy One is Jesus, the Living One alive forever with the keys.
