Holy Spirit Take the Wheel

Jesus finished the work of the Cross, something no other person could do. Now because of free will we all must individually choose to come to Jesus with a humble heart, repent, turning from darkness to light, turning from the power of satan to the Power of God, receive redemption, the forgiveness of sins. All who come to Jesus are saved; ask and receive Jesus; seek and you will find the kingdom of God and his righteousness; knock and the Door of Jesus opens to the Father so you can be restored, reconciled to God our Father. Since most people can’t go 0 to 100 immediately, we go from a spirit of rejection to the spirit of adoption before we can fully accept a spirit of sonship, and our true identity in Christ of God when we are born again of God, of Water and Spirit, repentance and transformation.

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for God is at work in you, both to will [desire what God desires] and to work for his good pleasure [power to be able]. Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ…you can be glad and rejoice” Philippians 2:12-18

We work out in your own being and life, what Holy Spirit brings within, the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and forming Christ in you. “My little children…I am in travail until Christ be formed in you” Galatians 4:19. If you leave God “out there” there is no transformation within, and you can’t be and do what God called you to be and do. Apart from Christ you can do nothing; the “double-minded” receive nothing from God. “I can do all things IN HIM who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. “If any one is IN CHRIST you are a new creature of the new creation, the old has passed away, behold, the new has come” 2 Corinthians 5:17. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and died for me” Galatians 2:20

“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life…Are you not of more value? Can you add even one cubit to the span of your life? God clothes the grass…how much more will he clothe you with Christ?…Do not be anxious…But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be yours as well. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day” Matthew 6:25-34

This world is full of anxiety and fear; Christ is full of Peace and Shalom; therefore come out of the world and into Christ. “In the world you will have tribulation, but in Me you will have Peace for I have already overcome this world” (Jesus in John 16:33), We receive Jesus and then have to work it out by the Spirit of Truth guiding us into all the Truth, and yielding to be led by the Holy Spirit. “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back in fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship. When we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ it is the Spirit HIMSELF bearing witness with our spirit that we are the children of God, and if children then heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided you suffer WITH HIM in order that we may also be glorified WITH HIM” Romans 8:15.

Jesus already conquered, overcame, triumphed; we have to work it out in our life; going through the suffering to experience the resurrection of our life, then we can KNOW without a shadow of a doubt the Love of Christ that fills us with all the fullness of God, as we have seen the glory of the Lord that changes us into his likeness; for this comes from the Lord who IS The Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18). We count it all joy as we look back, seeing the full effect of all the tests and trials of faith we went through to make us complete, perfect, lacking nothing (James 1:2-4). We give Jesus our spirit and soul and body and life; then we have to work it out, conquer unbelief, learn Christ, learn to surrender all, learn to TRUST God, learn to keep our mind stayed in Christ, our faculties trained by the Holy Spirit, learning to discern the Spirit of God leading our spirit and soul and body and life.

When we give our soul to Jesus, he gives us his mind to know the thoughts of God, his heart to know his compassion and mercy for the lost, deceived, oppressed or possessed, and his will to do the Will of God our Father on earth as it is in heaven. The world soul has the mind of lucifer, false light, deception, lying lion that roams seeking prey to devour, a base mind with thoughts not coming from God, hostile, rebellious, disobedient and lawless. Lucifer’s heart is self-serving, self-focused, jealous, envious, covetous, greedy, slothful, angry, lustful, prideful, focused on lack and limitation, deceived by the beliefs of the world system, rejects God and arrogantly thinks it can take what it deserves, not knowing it deserves hell for sinning against God and blaming other people. The will of lucifer is to do whatever it desires, follow feelings instead of God, using other people for its own pleasure and satisfaction, seeing others as lower than himself and there for him to use and abuse and abandon.

“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward being; therefore teach us wisdom in our secret heart” Psalm 51:6

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously. But ask in faith, with no doubting, for those who doubt are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For a double-minded person is unstable and receives NOTHING from the Lord” James 1:5-8

“Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of Christ’s Mind in you” Romans 12:2

“Be conformed to the image of the Son, the first born among many brethren” Romans 8:29

“He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation [old heaven and earth and sea]…the first born from the dead [new heaven and new earth and river of water of life]…through him reconciles to HIMSELF all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you who were once estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in HIS body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him, provided you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven” Colossians 1:15-23

God gave Jesus ALL power and authority in heaven AND on earth, therefore the shadow government and shadow religion of lucifer have none, and their plans will fail when you and I take what God has given every human being, The Son, the Christ, the Messiah, as Lord and Savior, delivering you from the dominion of darkness they have fooled you into believing is the new normal, when it is their altering of reality by working diligently to alter your perception of reality to keep you from Jesus who is able to deliver you from evil and transfer you into the kingdom of the Son, where you will receive HIS resurrection Life and Spirit, and the Spirit of Truth to lead you into all the truth; the Spirit of the Lord upon you through the Holy Spirit and fire baptism of Jesus anoints you with oil, fire and eyes to see, and gives you a continuous river of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge of God and his glory, the spirit of fear that is reverential awe of God our Father, knowing he sent Jesus, and choosing to abide in Christ and Christ in you by faith through grace, staying in the Word, the Life and Spirit of God, with patient endurance you will be kept from the hour of trial coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth (Revelation 3:10).

But not only kept safe, secure, at Peace, in Love with God allowing you to love others, but in Righteousness, and in the Joy of the Lord that is our strength IN the Holy Spirit who is now Lord (John 4:24, 14:16-16:15, 20:22; Acts 1:5,8, 2:17-28; 2 Corinthians 3:17-18). The kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy IN THE HOLY SPIRIT (Romans 14:17). Our new LIFE in Christ is spiritual, a matter of the heart, not literal, outwardly, external and physical (Romans 2:28-29, 12:1; John 7:24, 8:31-51). Holy Spirit forms Christ in you; the Son in you; resurrection Life and Spirit in you; the Word made flesh when you abide in Christ and Christ in you, taken by faith through grace, through the Goodness of God our Father, by the Holy Spirit. The reason faith in Christ looks so different on the outside is because Holy Spirit leads individuals do what God our Father is calling them to do, not trying to look like the Body but in the Spirit doing their part of the Body, who have the same Spirit but different gifts, so instead of rejecting parts of your own Body, let us wake up, arise from the dead and receive the Light of Christ: wisdom from Above (James 3:13-18). If the Body would realize that eyes, ears, mouths, hands, feet look different in the same Body through the same Spirit, there will be less division and more understanding and knowing the most honor is given to the “least” parts of the body (1 Corinthians 12:4-31, 14:1-40). Begin to bear the image of the man from heaven (1 Cor 15:49); do not worship the image of the beast or take his mark.

As I read through your excellent post Yvonne, there was a lot of what you covered that was in my prayer this morning. I love how you capitalize those KEY words. The “working out” aspect is, at least for me, the hardest to do, especially in my dealings with others, where patience and following the mind of Christ’s leading conflicts with my own “short” view and His “long” view. Small picture versus big picture is another way of stating that. One part of my prayer that I honestly ask for daily is that Jesus would live more in me than I live in me. I view all that comes across my path as what Jesus gives me to respond to and I am amazed at the amount of grace that He can and does provide. Keeping my hand in His takes focus and determination with a big helping of God’s grace. I’m where I am supposed to be and the wisdom that He willingly gives us is changing an awful lot of what I see. Scary part is I know there is so much more. Not scary in that there is fear but scary in knowing the amount of work in me that is yet to be done. And yet, there is that constant oneness that let’s me know He is there. If one follows where He leads, one does not have to worry about all that is outside of where He is leading you, if that makes sense. There is a really big pasture but I need only focus on where Jesus is taking me within it. That is all that He asks and there is a level of comfort and acceptance within that understanding. While driving to work this morning, God reminded me of Job and the Scripture about “I know my Redeemer lives”. I wrote the post on “Back to Square One – Part 5” on that and God’s Holy Spirit just kept on adding to it until it was done by bringing things to my remembrance. It’s kind of like painting a paint by numbers picture but you don’t really see the picture until it is finished. I find that amazing and it is all sheer grace. Anyway, thought I would share with you how meaningful your post was and how it ministered to me. Thank you. I trust you will have a blessed day. Love in Christ, – Bruce

    • Thank you so much for sharing Bruce! I appreciate your kind words and heart for God; now you have encouraged me! What a Mighty God we serve! I love the song, “I Know My Redeemer Lives” and I used to never be able to listen to it without crying when it hit the part when the music swells and the “selah” pause and the octave changes with the big “I KNOW, my Redeemer lives” the full impact of what God did for us while we were yet sinners. Many would be willing to die for those they love, but no one else willing or able to die for those who hated, mocked and rejected him; but God! You reminded me of the verse that what God begins in us he brings to completion; trusting he is the author and finisher of our faith. Sometimes I am so amazed that what seems like the breadth, length, depth and height of His Love in Christ now, is really just a foretaste of what we have to look forward to to come! riches of glory in Christ, blessings, grace and peace to you Bruce, ~Yvonne
