It is not what is going on around us that matters; it is what God puts in us that matters. When we ask God for His Spirit to be upon, with and in us, the spirit of this world, the spirit of error, is replaced by the Spirit of God, when we come out of this fallen, broken, dark world system (Revelation 18:1-24) and come to abide in Christ (Matthew 11:28-29; John 15:4) receiving the Holy Spirit with and in us (John 14:16-26), and the baptism of Jesus: the Holy Spirit and fire baptism upon us; asking and keep on asking, for everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives (Jesus in Luke 11:9-13 AMP Classic).
“Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me…I assure you, most solemnly tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he himself will be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as representing all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in and through the Son” Jesus in John 14:11-14
Jesus says, “Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?” Jesus in John 11:40
Under the old covenant the veil still lies over your soul (mind, heart, will), but when the veil is lifted, revealing in Christ it is made void and done away with. When a person turns in repentance to the Lord, the veil is stripped off and taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). And with an unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord [in the Word of God and as in a mirror], are being transformed and transfigured into His image (2 Corinthians 3:14-18).
“Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated); believe in and adhere to and trust and rely on God and Me…Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled]…I told you ahead of time so you may believe and have faith in and rely on Me” Jesus in John 14:1
The eternal and timeless purpose of God was realized and carried into effect in the person of Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness, courage and confidence of free access: unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear. So do not lose heart or become despondent through fear, Jesus suffered, endured the Cross for the Joy of our Salvation, giving us the glory He received [though we do nothing but believe and receive]. For this reason, seeing the greatness of the Plan by which you are built together IN Christ, I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in your inner man by the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality. May Christ, through your faith, actually dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints (God’s devoted people, the experience of that love) what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it. That you may really come to know [practically, through experiencing it for yourselves] the love of Christ which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that you may be filled throughout your being unto all the fullness of God [have the richest measure of the divine Presence], and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! Now to Him Who by the consequence of, the action of His power at work in us, is able to carry out His purposes and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think (infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams) — To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever, Amen (so be it).
