I know I heard this, sounds a lot like a certain party we know doesn’t it, make the church a social club without the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, that allows all sin and evil, we are working on it, sounds real familiar now. shame on Church leader’s, we are either called of God to do his work or we are heirlings and need to get out of the way, Gods work is strict true and should be carried out with honor and truth to his word.

“The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion.” Edmund Burke (1784)
“The answer is simple: truth is a dangerous weapon in a totalitarian system of government…Most have been wiped from the internet. At least three other citizen journalists also disappeared suddenly, although one has been freed under surveillance…China’s leadership is, of course, far from alone in making mistakes in responding to this virus. But now it is doing everything possible — at home and abroad — to promote a phoney narrative that it should be seen as the hero of these dark hours.
In one of her reports Zhang asked a simple question: ‘Why can’t I show the truth?’ The answer is simple: truth is a dangerous weapon in a totalitarian system of government.
In one of her reports Zhang asked a simple question: ‘Why can’t I show the truth?’ The answer is simple: truth is a dangerous weapon in a totalitarian system of government.
After sending 300 officials to Wuhan to push party propaganda, which included making nurses shave their heads to demonstrate dedication to the patriotic cause, the politburo demanded tighter internet control and tougher crackdowns on dissent.
Then as the government began to contain the outbreak in its own borders through draconian lockdowns and use of surveillance technology, it launched an assertive campaign to shape global debate.
So while the rest of the world struggles to control a disease that emerged in China, its own increasingly aggressive diplomats — aided by human and robotic social media propagandists — push the idea that its response proves the superiority of firm autocracy over floundering democracies.
China has also used its immense wealth to buy support from poorer nations and is promising countries across Africa and Asia priority access to its vaccines, to expand influence and soft power.
It has been aided by an unexpected surge in exports after shaking off the virus, especially to the United States in defiance of predictions that the pandemic would lead to reduced reliance on its rival superpower.
Communist chiefs also used this distraction to throttle the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong with the imposition of a security law that has led to the jailing of some activists and the flight of others. ‘We’re scared, to be honest,’ one campaigner texted me.
Meanwhile, officials are desperate to dampen growing suspicions over the origins of this new disease in a city that is, coincidentally, home to a high-security lab that was carrying out work on its collection of bat-borne coronaviruses…Professor Shi quickly identified the closest viral relative to this new disease in an academic paper — but failed to mention it was linked to the deaths of three miners with a similar respiratory disease eight years ago. Strangely, she said they died from fungal infection before being made to provide more information.
Now there are fears the World Health Organisation, so deferential to China from the start of this pandemic, is allowing the Communist leadership in Beijing to dictate the terms of its belated pandemic inquiry.
The WHO’s mission to probe its origins is expected to travel to China next month. But there are concerns it is relying on Chinese data and has, according to its published terms of reference, given Beijing the right to vet its experts.
China is a cruel society led by smart people who understand the meaning of that mantra from 1984 — Orwell’s novel warning about totalitarianism — that whoever controls the past also controls the future.
This is why they aim to create a false, self-aggrandising narrative on the pandemic. And this is why the jailed lawyer Zhang has been stuffed inside a prison hellhole after seeking to tell the truth about a virus that has infected the world.” ~Ian Birrell

From Epoch Times:
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) told the audience at an annual conservative conference on Feb. 27 that lockdowns and other restrictions imposed by state and local governments were to blame for the economic crash in 2020, not the pandemic which they were intended to snuff out.
Noem has become the target of establishment media and Democrat politicians for her approach to the pandemic. South Dakota was the only state which never ordered any businesses or churches to close, never imposed a lockdown or a mask mandate, and refrained from classifying businesses into essential and non-essential categories.
“COVID didn’t crush the economy. Government crushed the economy,” Noem said, prompting applause from the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
“Just as quickly, government turned around and held itself out as the savior, and frankly the Treasury Department can’t print money fast to keep up with Congress’s wishes. But not everyone has followed this path,” she continued.
Noem is among a few governors, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), who have bucked the national and global trend of imposing strict lockdowns on the populace in an attempt to limit the spread of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as COVID-19. The lockdowns resulted in an economic disaster, paring back the gains made during the Trump administration.
There is no historical precedent or controlled trials to support the argument for lockdowns and arguments over their efficacy have largely been split along political lines. Former President Donald Trump repeatedly accused Democrat governors and mayors of using the lockdowns to snuff out the economic boom set in motion by his low-tax, deregulation agenda.
Noem said that Anthony Fauci, one of the lead members of Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force, told her that South Dakota’s hospitals would be treating 10,000 patients at the worst point of the pandemic. She said the number was actually 600 patients at the worst point.
“I don’t know if you agree with me, but Dr. Fauci is wrong a lot,” Noem said, drawing raucous cheers from the crowd.
“Even in a pandemic, public health policy needs to take into account people’s economic and social well-being,” she added. “People need to keep a roof over their heads, they need to feed their families, and they need their dignity.”
“In my administration, we resisted the call for virus control at the expense of everything else. We looked at the science, the data, and the facts, and then we took a balanced approach.”
Noem said that as a result, South Dakota now has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation and that the state’s economy is booming.
Despite sidestepping lockdowns, South Dakota had fewer COVID-19 cases per million people over the past 30 days than some of the biggest lockdown states, including California, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Being from Iowa I appreciate this and hope all other states follow:
“Iowa lawmakers are considering an effort to restore strong religious freedom protections, creating a high threshold for any state interference with the free exercise of religion. “During this time of kind of the cancel culture, I think the problem is not so much that people of faith are trying to push their religion on someone else, but that the secular world is trying to force their thoughts on people of faith,” said state Sen. Dennis Guth.
