Why do you think Sarah, the wife of Abraham, is an allegory for the Bride? the new City?

  • she was mature; she had gone through a lot
  • Sarah was WAY past the age of childbearing, but God is WAY bigger and gives us WAY bigger Promises in the Way, in Christ
  • the facts in the natural, the temporal, were superseded by the unseen, eternal of God; his Truth and Life we find in Christ
  • she was not perfect… but God is
  • it was impossible in the natural…but this is supernatural in the glory
  • Sarah laughed…but God’s Power doesn’t depend on what you do or don’t do but only believing the Word of God…letting the imperishable Seeds of the Word grow in you to form a tree of life watered by the river of water of life from the Throne of God and his Lamb
  • it doesn’t depend on what is external, but what you believe and receive on the inside

“Did I not tell you that if you believe you would see the glory of God?” ~Jesus

Do you believe the world or do you believe the Word?

“With men it is impossible, but with God all things are possible”

“For the story and the message of the Cross is sheer absurdity and and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the manifestation of the Power of God. For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify them and bring them to nothing” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19 AMPC)

“That your FAITH might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the Power of God. Yet among the MATURE we do impart Wisdom, although it is not the wisdom of this age or the rulers of this age…But we impart a secret and hidden Wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification…God reveals to us through the Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:5-10 RSV as usual)

“His divine Power grants to us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who calls us to his own glory and excellence, by which he grants to us his precious and VERY GREAT Promises, that through these you may escape the corruption in the world, and become PARTAKERS of the divine nature” 2 Peter 1:3-4

  • Repent; turn from the dominion of darkness to the marvelous light of Christ Jesus; turn from the power of satan to the Power of God
  • Ask and RECEIVE Christ
  • Seek FIRST and FIND the kingdom of God and his RIGHTEOUSNESS
  • Knock and the Door OPENS through the new and living Way of the Word: resurrection life and Spirit; Faithful and True and Righteous and Trustworthy: King of kings and Lord of lords, so you can receive every good endowment and every perfect Gift from Above
  • grow, learn, see, hear, do; mature in the Word, in Christ and Christ in you
  • wait patiently with endurance for the Promises; not wavering, not distrusting, not doubting, not fearing, not taking things into your own hands; humbly trusting God and his Promises; keep the FAITH, keeping surrendered, focused on what Jesus did, is doing, and will continue to do in you, despite external circumstances, IN the midst of the world but not OF the world, yoked to Christ, rooted and grounded in Christ, resting in God as you let HOLY Spirit work, built up in the sevenfold Spirit: the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of the Knowledge of God and his glory, and the Spirit of reverential awe and wonder and miracles’
  • never give up! trust God and continue in the Word that gives Light
  • grow in the Word, grow in Christ, grow in maturity

  2. The riches of the glory of the mystery hidden for ages and generations, but now made manifest, is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Christ we proclaim, warning every one, and teaching every one in all Wisdom from Above, that the Holy Spirit may present every one mature IN Christ. For this we toil, striving with all the energy which God mightily inspires WITHIN us (Colossians 1:27-29).

“Our God will supply EVERY need of yours according to his riches IN glory IN Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19
