Thanks Giving

Today I am giving thanks, for in this moment, on this day, I realize that there is EVERY reason to give thanks, for there is NOTHING missing in Christ Jesus. EVERYTHING our soul desires can be found in Jesus. I am truly thankful!

Bless the Lord! O my soul! all that is in me bless His Holy Name! (Psalm 103) hallow, hear, hearken, heed, have help from the holy of holies in Christ and Christ in you through the Holy Ghost. Give up the “ghost” and have the Holy Ghost!

I am truly thankful for the Holy Spirit! Jesus is my One Husband! God our Father is my Father-in-Love, not my Father-in-law! I give thanks for the New Covenant! Holy Spirit is my Life! I am complete in Christ and Christ in me, Who is holy and perfect as God our Father is Holy and Perfect! In Christ I have found all the Promises of God fulfilled, and I ask and receive and THANK God for them to be fulfilled in me and all who come out of the world system and come to Jesus, yoke, learn, find rest, and yield to be led by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge of God and his glory, Fear of the Lord not fear of man, that turns into Reverential Awe and Wonder at the faith, prophesy, healing, working of miracles, utterance of wisdom, utterance of knowledge, discerning of spirits; faculties trained to discern good from evil.

In Christ Jesus NOTHING is dark, nothing is dead, nothing is sinful, nothing is fallen, nothing is evil or unclean, nothing is unclear, nothing is confusing, nothing to doubt, nothing is unloving, nothing is unspiritual, nothing is unholy or unrighteous, nothing is missing, nothing is broken, nothing is lacking, nothing is limited, nothing is impossible,  and there is NOTHING to fear!

In Christ is EVERYTHING of God dwelling bodily, and out of the fullness of Christ we receive grace upon grace; the Holy Spirit reveals Christ as he is now so we can be led forth in joy in His perfect peace, glory to glory!

I am thankful, and continually giving thanks to God our Father for sending Jesus! thanking Jesus for finishing the work of the Cross! thanking the Holy Spirit for the greater works we have yet to see!

Yvonne, the Lord Jesus is the Husband of the Bride of Christ, which is His Community, which is composed of all real Christians. He is not the Husband of any particular member. This concept derives from a false teaching that has been around for many years. The only place in the New Testament the Lord Jesus is euphemistically referred to as a Husband using that term is in Revelation 21:2 which describes the New Jerusalem “made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.” The New Jerusalem is a type of the Lord’s Community.

    • “I betrothed you to Christ as a pure bride to her One Husband” 2 Corinthians 11:2
“his Bride has made herself ready” Revelation 19:7
“the five wise virgins versus five foolish” Matthew 25
“For your Maker is your husband…the Holy One…your Redeemer…For the Lord has called you LIKE A WIFE forsaken and grieved in spirit, LIKE A WIFE when she is cast off, says your God. For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you…with everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. For this is LIKE the days of Noah…” Isaiah 54:5-9
“The Lord delights in you…as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you, and as the Bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you…called the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called sought out, a city not forsaken” Isaiah 62:4-12
In Hosea 2:14-23 allured, spoken to tenderly, given her vineyard, the door of Hope opens and there I answered. “In that day you will call me, “My husband” and no longer my ba’al, removing those names and making now a New Covenant, and God makes us lie down in safety (just like Psalm 23 promises when we are under the True Shepherd of our soul) and he betroths us to Himself forever; betrothed in RIGHTEOUSNESS so we can KNOW the Lord…betrothed in Faithfulness…” (how much MORE in the New Covenant than the old)
The woman at the well had been married five times and Jesus told her the one she was “married” to at the moment was not her husband either, I believe because the One Husband in the New Covenant is Christ Jesus the Glorified Living Holy Righteous One through whom we reign in life through abounding grace and the free gift of righteousness; the One Husband we are eternally betrothed to, individually and collectively, a part of the Bride, the True Church, the New City where the Righteousness of God dwells; “cities” set on a hill, arising and shining the light and glory of the risen, glorified Christ Jesus; the Bride reflecting her Husband who reflects God our Father!
“Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb” Revelation 21:9b
in contrast to “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who is seated upon many waters” Rev 17:1b
I choose to be of the Bride, the wife of the Lamb in the New Covenant, a part of the New Covenant, no longer of the harlot; one of the five wise virgins, as a widow whom God encountered as Husband, said he would take care of me, provide, protect, cover as a husband. Yes the True Church is the Bride and yes, we are individually part of the The Church and Christ does wash with the pure water of his Word, cherish, nourish, sanctify, cleanse, and present us to Himself, individually and corporately, without spot or wrinkle that we may be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:23-32). I would not have made it through the past trauma if it were not for the intimate relationship and communion with Christ, who became MORE than a husband to me, more than any physical intimacy in physical marriages is His Perfect Love and the Fullness of Joy that goes way beyond any physical sensation of earthly marriage. It is a spiritual “marriage” not physical.
“The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage; but those who are accounted worthy to attain that age and to resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage” I believe because we are not only betrothed but married to the One Husband.
There is so much more but I think the encounter, the experiential knowing is far greater than any words we can use. I think God provides individually the things we need and ask and thank him for. “Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to him, trust him, and he will act.” I told God I could not go on after my husband’s traumatic death, but God is Faithful to provide, protect, and cover like a Husband. I asked and glorified Jesus is the Perfect Husband and God our Father is the Perfect Father and I am more than grateful!
      Thanks RJ, God bless you!
