The Spirit of the Lord and Anointing

The sevenfold Spirit of God is the Spirit of the Lord, Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and Fear of the Lord: Reverential Awe (Isaiah 11:2). The baptism of Jesus is the Holy Spirit and fire upon you (Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16; Acts 1:8, 2:2-3); clothed with Power from on High (Luke 24:49). The Holy One anointing, received from the Son in the Father, abiding in you, teaches you everything Jesus taught while on earth, all true and no lies, and teaches you to abide in Christ (1 John 2:20-28).

Jesus revealed God in the flesh, the Word made flesh, and reveals God as Father to those born again of God. Holy Spirit reveals Christ as he is now and gives us his Wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:24, 30; James 3:18), Understanding of the spiritual gifts we receive when we possess the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-16), Knowledge of God and his glory (Ephesians 1:17-23), grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, thus offering to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe (Hebrews 12:28). Seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces we are changing, transformed, transfigured into the image and likeness of Christ from one degree of glory to another (2 Corinthians 3:18). The Father sent Jesus and Jesus sends us.

“Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you” (John 20:21).

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good tidings to the afflicted;
    he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
    and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,
    and the day of vengeance of our God;
    to comfort all who mourn;
to grant to those who mourn
    to give them beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
    the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
    the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
They shall build up the ancient ruins,
    they shall raise up the former devastations;
they shall repair the ruined cities,
    the devastations of many generations.

Aliens shall stand and feed your flocks,
    foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;
but you shall be called the priests of the Lord,
    men shall speak of you as the ministers of our God;
you shall eat the wealth of the nations,
    and in their riches you shall glory.
Instead of your shame you shall have a double portion,
    instead of dishonor you shall rejoice in your lot;
therefore in your land youshall possess a double portion;
    yours shall be everlasting joy.

For I the Lord love justice,
    I hate robbery and wrong;
I will faithfully give them their recompense,
    and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Their descendants shall be known among the nations,
    and their offspring in the midst of the peoples;
all who see them shall acknowledge them,
    that they are a people whom the Lord has blessed.

 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
    my soul shall exult in my God;
for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
    he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
    and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the earth brings forth its shoots,
    and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up,
so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
    to spring forth before all the nations.” Isaiah 61:1-11

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father be glorified in the Son;  if you ask anything in my name, I will do it” John 14:12-14

“Fret not…Trust in the Lord…Enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust him and he will ACT” Psalm 37:1-5

“Rejoice IN the Lord, again I say, Rejoice…The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about ANYTHING but in EVERYTHING make your requests be known to God with thanksgiving. And the Peace of God beyond understanding will keep your heart and mind IN Christ Jesus…thinking about what is true, honorable, noble, just, pure, lovely, gracious, excellent, praise worthy…What you learn [yoked to Christ] and RECEIVE and hear and see [revealed by the Holy Spirit], do, and the God of Peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:2-9); the Holy Spirit with you AND in you (John 14:16-17) and upon you (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 2:2-3) and Christ in you (John 15:4; Colossians 1:27; 2 Corinthians 13:5) unless you fail the tests of FAITH whose full effect is complete, perfect, lacking NOTHING; given gold refined by fire, white garments, and eye salve to see (Revelation 3:18).

“God supplies EVERY need of yours according to his riches of GLORY in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19

We all need Christ to unveil us to see the glory, and be transformed in the glory, receiving ALL of Glorified Jesus when we empty of us! “I have been crucified WITH CHRIST; it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by FAITH in the Son of God who loves me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and ALL is given to you. As Christ is now, so are we to be in this world (1 John 4:17b). As you think in your heart, so you are (Proverbs 23:7 KJV). Jesus said do not fear, only believe. Jesus said it is done unto you as you believe. “All things are possible to those who believe.” Jesus said you will see the glory of the Lord if you only believe. Who do you believe: the world or the Word?
