Putting Words to the Spiritual

You might wonder why I have been posting like a gushing river, swollen by torrents of rain from Above. I have been trying to put into words what is wordless; what the Spirit reveals, and what is not easily put into words; they all fall short…

I realize too that Jesus taught in parables to unbelievers, and spoke plainly to those closest to him, who finally understood after the Holy Spirit and fire baptism at Pentecost…

“What eye has not seen, what ear has not heard, what hearts cannot perceive…the Holy Spirit reveals” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

I pray and ask the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, to give us a Spirit of Wisdom and revelation of the Knowledge of God and his glory of Christ; the eyes of our hearts enlightened, our understanding enlightened, to know our calling as believers, our inheritance as saints, and the IMMEASURABLE greatness of the Power of God, accomplished IN CHRIST; at work in the awakened Bride who belongs to Christ Jesus by having his Spirit; with Holy Spirit and dunamis fire Power upon, with, in, and flowing through them; filled with the FULLNESS of God in Christ and Christ in you, the Head of the one Body and one Spirit, the True Church, LIKE a Bride, LIKE a New City, earthen vessels filled with all the treasures of the heavenly Gift of God, and the gifts of the Spirit; endowments and every perfect gift coming down from the Father of lights without variation or shadow due to change. Out of his own Will by the Word of Truth he brings forth as a kind of first fruits of the new creation (Ephesians 1:17-23; 2 Corinthians 4:7; Colossians 2:1-20; James 1:16-18).

“The immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; 22 and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23 which is his body, the fulness of him who fills all in all” Ephesians 1:19-23

The Bride, the True Church, needs to arise and shine for such a time as this. “Awake O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light” Ephesians 5:14

The Promise of the Lord’s Coming

This is now the second letter that I have written to you, beloved, and in both of them I have aroused your sincere mind by way of reminder; that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles. First of all you must understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own passions and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.” They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago, and an earth formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist have been stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening[b] the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! 13 But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

14 Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15 And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation.

~2 Peter 3:7-15

But as to the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape. But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But, since we belong to the day, let us be sober, and put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us so that whether we wake or sleep we might live with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
