Change Your Clothes Spiritually

Put off fallen Adam’s “clothes” and put on risen Christ’s “clothes”: the garment of salvation, the robe of righteousness, and the white wedding garment; baptized into Christ you put on Christ (Galatians 3:27).

Sin keeps you in bondage to evil; man-made religion keeps you in bondage to false gods,

but Jesus whom God sent in the fullness of time, took our sins in his body on the tree so we might die to sin and come alive to righteousness (1 Peter 2:24). We come out of the world system of beliefs and come to Jesus, yoke, learn, and find rest for our soul;

taking off sin and putting on righteousness like a garment; covering us completely; hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 1:1-3); putting on the Mind of Christ; taking the spiritual weapons, righteousness in both your right and left hands (2 Corinthians 6:7), taking every thought captive to obey Christ, casting down every vain imagination (10:3-7); putting on Truth, declaring it boldly (Ephesians 6:10-20).

Replace the lies you believed with the Truth of the Word of God through Jesus; delivered from evil through faith in the finished work of the Cross, abiding and remaining in Christ and Christ abiding and remaining in you; made clean by the Word (John 15:3), washed in pure Water of Life with the Word (Ephesians 5:26), cleansed from ALL unrighteousness in the pure Blood (1 John 1:9), God empowered and enabled by the Holy Spirit; knowing the Truth, the Truth makes you free (John 8:32);

Jesus breaks the yoke to darkness of fallen Adam under the father of lies; being yoked to risen Christ is easy and light under the Father of glory, the Father of lights, the Father of Jesus the Christ; learning and finding rest for your soul; peace for your mind in Christ, righteousness for your heart in God our Father through Jesus, joy in the Holy Spirit; your will yielded to be led by the Spirit; the kingdom of God within (Luke 17:20-21).

Your redeemed soul bowed down to the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Word of God, you hear, “Come up and see!” In Christ is salvation, redemption, forgiveness of sins, delivered from the dominion of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of the beloved Son of God, justification: just as if you never sinned, sanctification wholly spirit and soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23), glorification (Romans 8:30; 1 Corinthians 2:7; Colossians 1:27; John 17:22), and SO MUCH MORE, prophesied in the old covenant, fulfilled in the new covenant in Christ and Christ in you.

Thanksgiving for God’s Goodness

103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
    and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
    who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the Pit,
    who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good as long as you live[a]
    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord works vindication
    and justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
    his acts to the people of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
He will not always chide,
    nor will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
    nor requite us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
    so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
    so the Lord pities those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
    he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass;
    he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
    and its place knows it no more.
17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
    upon those who fear him,
    and his righteousness to children’s children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
    and remember to do his commandments.

19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
    and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels,
    you mighty ones who do his word,
    hearkening to the voice of his word!
21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts,
    his ministers that do his will!
22 Bless the Lord, all his works,
    in all places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

    • Bless His Holy Name! Jesus! the Way, the Truth, the Life! the Living Holy One, alive forevermore with the Keys! We are kept from the wrath to come by turning from idols to the Living True God (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10); standing mature and fully assured in all the Will of God (Colossians 4:12b) led by the Holy Spirit! love abounding more and more with knowledge and all discernment to approve what is excellent, pure and blameless for the Day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness coming through Jesus, to the praise and glory of God our Abba Father (Philippians 1:9-11)! Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty who was and who IS and who is to come! thanks, honor, blessing, praise, worship, glory, majesty, dominion, power, and authority to God our Father and his Lamb, now and is to come, and forever and ever. Amen. Hallelujah!
