I wanted to let my readers know that I suffered an unspeakable loss on Wednesday morning as my husband crashed and died in the plane he was piloting.  Please pray for John’s and my family, friends, colleagues and all those he touched…

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved John and I pray the Lord will sustain you, even when you cannot catch your breath, even when numbness becomes the norm, or the ragged sorrow of night.     I asked our King Jesus .. what can i say to comfort this beautiful soul whom i feel so connected too but haven’t met before!
    I have found so much joy and peace in your writings! Your heart is shining and yet you will go through another tribulation. To be purified into the finest of jewels!! God. Be with Johns friends and family in such a sad time for them!

    Scripture does teach that the Christian can face tribulation, crisis, calamity, and personal suffering with a supernatural power that is not available to the person outside of Christ.

    Isaiah 66:12-14a

    “For this is what the Lord says: ‘I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.’ When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass;”

    Psalm 46:1-7

    God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

    Psalm 34:17-18

    “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

    you and your whole family will be in my prayers for super natural strength and peace my good friend and sister in Christ Jesus!!!

    Weeping with you, sending my deepest sympathies. I have no words are adequate for your immense loss. I understand in my way, my 25 yr old son was killed by a criminal driver 10 yrs ago and I can testify that God binds up the broken hearted despite my anger. I support people in loss, feel free to contact me.

    My friend Yvonne, I am so sorry for your great loss. I ask our Lord Jesus to fill you with His presence and strength during this very difficult time. You are a wonderful and faithful servant of the Lord. Please allow yourself to be thoroughly surrounded with the ongoing presence of loved ones and all they wish to do to help you as the Lord Jesus works through them and with them.

    Master Jesus and all the Angels are with you and your family. Master Jesus lets us know ‘My God is a God of the Living’ so no one ever dies, they only change from visible to invisible. I say this from deep knowing, my mother and father passed on when I was young. My first husband left in my arms. All three came to me and showed me they were still alive, but in a different form. They told me they were on their great cosmic vacation and only wanted happiness for all those they knew and loved. I know the shock you feel with this great loss. Also I am a Pilot and almost crashed as my life passed before my eyes letting me know all those I would leave behind would be in shock. I feel your beloved John is asking you to continue to communicate with him in Spirit and you will feel his eternal touch and guidance. It takes time to heal and you will be in my prayers and the prayers of so many in appreciation of all you have shared over the years. Thank you for always inspiring. God is with you now.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Are you in the U.S? If so, which state are you in?
    The movement that is being birthed later this month comes with miracles and the greater works Jesus promised us. He raised the dead, believing with childlike faith that all things are possible through Him.

    Yvonne, how are you and your famiily doing? Continuing to pray for you all.

    As each day goes by – each day you are closer to reuning with John. Yes, marriage does continue for those who are joined in Spirit. Not according to law, but yes according to the Spirit, for they can no more die, and so neither the marriage nor Marriage ends.

    I just stumbled upon this post and as I read, my heart skipped a beat. I too lost my husband in an accident so my heart breaks on a different level, for you. I pray God’s peace and comfort surround you as you walk through this tragedy.

    Dear Yvonne,

    I was not aware of your loss until I read about it this afternoon. I am truly saddened by it. Please receive my heartfelt, albeit despicably late, condolences.

    It is very inspiring that you managed to keep your blog running and never stopped praising God during these difficult times. I was in a very dark place when I started reading your blog years ago and somehow light has slowly and steadily replaced the darkness so much so that I now feel victory is finally at hand. So it pains me to think that you who have brought so much comfort to so many of us over the years, could be going through even worse anguish than we were going through when we found you.

    Hopefully, this tragedy will help you deepen even further your relationship with God and come to a full realization that there is no such thing as “death” but only transitions from one state of being to another.
