Caught Up in God’s Presence

Caught up in God’s Presence,

as we praise and worship and enter the glory;

in the presence, there is no separation;

there are riches of glory, treasures of wisdom and revelation and God’s mystery of Christ (Colossians 1:26 – 2:3)

“In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you” John 14:20

“Jesus lifted his eyes up to heaven and said, ‘Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son that the Son may glorify thee; since thou has given him power over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Christ whom thou hast sent. I glorified thee on earth, having accomplished the work thou gavest me to do; and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made…I have given them the Words you gave me…I am glorified in them…that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves…Sanctify them in the truth; thy Word is truth…I consecrate myself, that they may also be consecrated in truth. I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word, that they may be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us…The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one as we are one” John 17:1-26

Jesus taught, “God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth” John 4:24

There is so much to learn about the glory of God, the presence, the true light, and worshiping in the Spirit.

“Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fullness of joy, in thy right hand are pleasures forevermore” Psalm 16:11

Perhaps the biggest deception is keeping people from Jesus who came to save, heal, deliver and set every person free. Everything in this world is an attempt to keep you from the Way, Truth, Life and Words of Jesus, not through any mediator, but direct knowing God our Father through Christ Jesus who he sent. Instead of social, cultural, religious, or political correctness, going directly to the Living One alive forever more, the Holy One, the Righteous One, the Just One, the Creator of heaven and earth who sent Jesus in the fullness of time. Come to the One who can change everything for every one: Christ Jesus the Messiah, by sending the Holy Spirit and fire to remove the old and form the new in you.

If any one is IN Christ, they are a new creature, of the new creation, of the new covenant; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). In Christ we do not have a human point of view (2 Cor 5:16) but we are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), made alive together with Christ (Ephesians 2:5); with Christ in you, his resurrection life and Spirit in you; blessed by our God and Father IN Christ Jesus with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3); riches of grace and glory; and uniting all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth (Ephesians 1:8-10). When you KNOW the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, you can be filled with all the fullness of God; the power at work within in Christ and Christ in you; able to do far more abundantly than ALL that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:14-21).

What if you actually come to Jesus to yoke, learn, rest in God and let Holy Spirit work in and through you? What if you let go of all the knowledge you have been fed and come to the Living Bread and Living Water of Life to be fed of the Word and thirst quenched by the Spirit? What if you began to chew on the meat of the Word and drink the new wine of the Spirit of Christ?
