Holy Spirit, Pour, through the Word

We eagerly await with great expectation and confident anticipation for the Holy Spirit to pour upon all flesh (Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:17-18).

“We have this Treasure in earthen vessels, to show that the transcendent Power belongs to God and not to us…always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies…the life of Jesus manifested in our mortal flesh” 2 Corinthians 4:7-11

Be washed, regenerated, and renewing in the Holy Spirit, poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior (Titus 3:5), Jesus Who is the Word of God, Who revives and refreshes us. “Repent, therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the Presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19).

The dispensation of the Spirit is attended with greater splendor (glory)…the dispensation of righteousness must far exceed the former glory with the latter. Indeed this is the case, what once had splendor (old covenant) has come to have no splendor at all, because of the splendor (new covenant under the Blood of the Lamb of God) that surpasses it (Hebrews 8:6-8). For if what faded away came with splendor (Moses), what is permanent must have much more splendor (Risen Glorified Jesus)…only Christ can take your veil away…turn to the Lord and the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, we are changing into His likeness from one degree of glory to another, by the Lord Who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:7-18).

Christ, the Head of the “Bride” (the Ekklesia, the True Church), His Body, and is Himself her Savior…gave Himself up for her, to sanctify her, having cleansed her by washing with the Word, so He might present her to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish…nourished and cherished…as members of His Body…two become one, the profound mystery (Ephesians 5:23-32).

We come into the kingdom of God and His righteousness with nothing but our living body, having given all of our spirit and soul and body and life to Jesus, Who gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20). We give our living bodies as our Offering (Romans 12:1; Hebrews 12:28-29) in worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24), in reverential Awe and Wonder, everything shaken and removed that can be shaken, grateful for a kingdom that cannot be shaken, in your earthen vessel, filled with His Breath, His Spirit, His resurrection Life, His Words spoken to you that make you clean to abide in Christ and Christ in you (John 15:3-4, 6:63, 20:22).
