    Hi Yvonne! Wondering if i could ask you a question again? It is concerning the baptism in the Holy Ghost! I have been seeking this gift and presence of the Lord in me for a very long time, and believe that the Lord will fill me when he knows it is the time, “He will suddenly come to His temple.” But I definitely have many many questions about it…i know that the Lord said, “blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled!” and that he spoke of rivers of living water flowing from our inner-most being! And that the Holy Ghost is the promised rest, the promised consiousness, the Lords glory returning unto us, restoring what we lost in the fall, His presence back in the temple of our bodies. I guess my question is…years ago when i was making my rounds through different denominations, trying to find the Lord, or his voice, before i learned to seek him on my own, I encountered many who would lay hands on myself and others and they would try to command the baptism in the Holy Spirit, or would want me to repeat the words they were saying, or wanted me to make up words and just say them with my carnal mind : (. I was very young in the Lord at that time and didn’t comply as it felt wrong in my spirit. I didn’t know alot back then, but it just did not seem right in my belly, and i truly wanted the presence of the Lord and not something emotionally manufactured by myself or others. I could definitely be wrong in my hope, and i am beyond open to rebuke and correction, but i feel like when the Lord comes upon me it will definitely be unmistakable, and i’m sure emotional. But i don’t feel like it will be something i have to do, or something i conjure up in my own emotions or carnal mind. I don’t feel like me making up gibberish is the Spirit of the living God : (. I guess my hope is that when he comes to me and fills me with His Spirit my tongue will magnify the Lord as the “Spirit” gives utterance, not myself or my mind making it up. I feel like it will be a supernatural event in my life and something that will set me free and i will go forth leaping and skipping about like a calf let free from the stall! lol at least that is my hope… I know 2 people that have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, one in1975 and one in 1985, and they both said that the Spirit came upon them and they spoke in other tongues. The one in 1975 did not even know that their was a baptism in the H.S. and she actually had the ball of fire appear to her in her bedroom and fill her, she said it was the most amazing Love she has ever felt. She spoke in tongues and interpreted and she said it was magnifying God!!! She found out a few weeks later in a bible study about the baptism while they were reading the book of Acts. She then let the attendants of the bible study know that that had happened to her a few weeks prior. I dont think it went over so well…lol. She said she didnt mind though as this was a major turning point in her life and she had been set free and was full of life and love for others upon being baptized in the Holy Spirit! I am very blessed to have this wonderful, humble, woman in my life! She is like a second Mom to me! Sorry for such a long letter..lol I am just very thirsty and have many questions concerning the Holy Spirit. I have walked through many years of suffering, and the flesh, and like Paul, i know that there is no good thing in me apart from His Spirit! I feel like he has been with me this whole time showing me how to carry my cross and die to the things of the world that cannot abide with His presence! Just as the Israelites had to conquer the giants and walled cites outwardly…Ive had to carry my cross and deny myself in order to make a home for Him to dwell in, a place for Him to rest. Although in myself i know that is not possible, but by His Spirit his fire burns out the dross. So i feel like the scripture that says, His Spirit is with you, and shall be IN you!! I guess i dont feel like ive had that overwhelming experience with His Spirit that conquers the carnal mind and leaves the fruit of the Spirit entirely! That is what i am seeking, is that definite encounter with the Spirit of God that sets the captives free! Wow i didnt mean to write such a long letter…sry! So if you dont mind sharing, was you experience very definite and nothing of this world as was my friends in 1975? Did you speak in tongues as well? Am i wrong for seeking God this way and crying out to experience the baptism in a very real and definite way???? I just feel in my heart and in my mind that what those in the book of Acts experienced was a very life changing and dramatic PERSONAL touch from Jesus! The morning star rising in their hearts!! Although the Lord has led me through all of the scriptures confirming to me that it is His will to pour forth of His spirit, all i can do is wait and seek his face and believe he will do for me too!       Thank you Justin, for sharing your heart! I can hear your hunger and thirst! But maybe don’t try so hard or strive or try to figure it out…just yield…
      but I don’t have the answer, the Holy Spirit does!
      Keep asking from a place of quiet trust and rest of abiding in Christ. Jesus said, “no one know the hour or time but the Father” so just BE ALWAYS READY by being in the Word and Jesus’ sayings “the words that I have spoken are Spirit and Life. (John 6:63)

      Only our Father knows when each child is ripe, only the Holy Spirit knows everything about each individual. No one knows the whole of God, we all see in part, not from the Big Eternal Picture. If we can know everything about God, he isn’t God!

      All I can say is TRUST our heavenly Father for his timing is always perfect as he is Righteous, Holy and Perfect in every way. “Every good endowment and every perfect gift comes down from our Father of lights” James 1:17

      Take it by faith, through grace, and wait patiently, with endurance! “Blessed are those who believe without seeing”

      For some reason I had to see and experience, taste and see His Goodness; but FAITH though GRACE is enough to crucify us with Jesus and make us alive together with Him (Ephesians 2:4-6). Continue to ask, seek and knock! Trust you will receive and find and he will knock at your door!

      He came to me when I despaired of life, at my lowest point, into my utter brokenness, after three days of continuous reading of the New Testament out of desperation, but as Jesus never healed and delivered in the same way, it is probably the same with the baptism of Holy Spirit and fire.

      I immersed myself in the Word, then the fire came, then the Holy Spirit breathed me, took over, and I was caught up and when I came to normal consciousness I was filled with His Love, then Jesus said, “Come to Me, you who are tired and heavy-laden and I will give you rest” I did and he opened my heart (circumcision of the heart) and removed the chains, which unleashed buckets of tears; then the journey of me conquering with Him began and at a certain point when I was able to give up everything I got re-baptized in the ocean and another level opened up. He continues to unveil me so I can see more and more, and be less and less attached to things and dependent only on God!

      But I do believe our individual journeys with Christ in God are all different, but the thing they all have in common is surrender, abandoning the past, emptying of our old self and what we were conditioned with, yielding to be filled with Christ, becoming dependent on God for EVERYTHING!

      Do not lose heart! Trust and wait patiently, but do not stop asking! Keep in close relationship and yield! Keep the faith through his grace!

    Thank you soo much Yvonne for your encouragement and for sharing!!! I will definitely take your advice and not strive so hard to figure it out, and just trust that he will do it in his perfect timing! I guess because it has been a fight for me, and a struggle to work through the doctrines of men to understand the true gospel which has been a mystery for generations, i think that is why i have been in earnest : ). But you are right I need to just trust that he knows and knows when is best!! When you mentioned Jesus’ words, “no one knows the hour or time but the Father” and “Only our Father knows when each child is ripe.” I wanted to ask you if you see this as when the Holy Spirit comes to us personally?? I know most of Christianity interprets these verses as when Christ will return outwardly to establish an outward kingdom, like the Jewish people were waiting for. But i feel like He showed me that he is talking about His return to each individuals heart(circumcision of the heart) to fill them and baptized them with His Spirit. Hence “that this generation shall not pass before all of this has taken place” Also where he told Peter, “what is it to you if i want him(John) to remain until i return?” That this is His Kingdom coming to our hearts and the King taking his seat in us to govern us and fill us with his fruit and gifts of the Spirit. The NHOEN : )!! Im pretty sure that you interpret those verses to mean his Kingdom can be experienced here and now!! I only ask because it took me years and years to see that revelation and when he showed it to me I was filled with joy!! Do you see it the same way too? Ill have to stop writing now lol because i will end up asking you a bunch more ?’s LOL!! Thank you so much Yvonne for your encouragement and your walk with the Lord!       Hi Justin! This morning I opened my bible to Acts 19 and sensed it was for you.
      Paul “found some disciples” not servants, friends, casual followers, but DISCIPLES (believers who are students, apprentice, adherent, obedient-listening-willing-hearted or devoted followers)! He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you BELIEVED?” and they said no, they had never even heard of it. Paul asked “Into WHAT were you baptized?” and they said John’s repentance baptism “believe in the one TO COME” and on HEARING this they were baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus. AND when Paul LAID HIS HANDS upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke WITH tongues AND prophesied”
      First: you BELIEVE (he died, resurrected, ascended, sent the Holy Spirit as Comforter, Counselor, Counsel, Guide, Leader, Teacher of all Jesus taught) and Christ WILL COME to you! check!
      Second: you know about the baptism of Jesus: Holy Spirit and fire! in the Word. check!
      Third: Have you been baptized in the NAME of Jesus?
      Fourth: If I were you I would find a man of God whose fruit is definitely from the tree of life (not satan’s tree), i.e., obvious spiritual fruit, and ask him to lay his hands on you, knowing he knows it is Christ Jesus using his hands as representative of Christ on earth! Dan Mohler is the purest gospel man I know, maybe you know someone else?

        WoW WoW Wow! It is 11am on Wednesday and I just read your reply for the first time. This is definitely not a coincidence. I did not know that you wrote this to me yesterday as I did not check my email or the thread we were writing on : ). However, i woke up this morning and running through my being peacefully, over and over again was, EXACTLY what you have just written me!!! (Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you BELIEVED?” and they said no, they had never even heard of it. Paul asked “Into WHAT were you baptized?” and they said John’s repentance baptism”!!) I just kept hearing in my being when i woke up, into what were you baptized then?? Then i started to remember the whole scenario where the disciples said, into Johns baptism of repentance. On my drive to work i kept contemplating, unto what were you baptized then??. When i just checked the thread i received your message and it is exactly what the Lord placed into my spirit this morning!! He is sooooo good to me! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful vessel for his Spirit : ). Your confirmation and listening ear and writing this to me gives me so much consolation and peace that he knows exactly where i am right now and that he has not forgotten me!! Thank you Yvonne so much!!!! I dont want to get too long winded and write you another novel…but i feel like i should share this. I mentioned months ago that i have endured some very difficult suffering in my body for my age…over the last year i decided with the Lord i would get in great shape again and eat as healthy as i could! I swam laps every day and surfed and hit the gym every day that my eye pain would allow me too. Long story short i got in pretty great shape again!! I went from 198lbs to 160lbs in about 6months. I was getting back to hobbies and being outdoors again and around friends. However just in the last 6months my knee started swelling and hurting pretty bad. I didn’t injure it, so it was strange. I had an mri done and it came back looking fine, just that i had fluid on the knee. Each month the pain increased and it has been a very strange pain…i noticed it starting going into my arm and fingers as well..AS of the the last two months i have lost the ability to walk, I have to use a leg brace and a cane, and that helps me be able to get around short distances. Im 36 so this has definitely been very trying and especially since i went from being active to now having alot of difficulty being mobile. I have definitely been resisting this pain in my body and fighting against the enemy and believing Gods promises over my life and body! Im telling you this story because just a few days ago my Dr.(Im very reluctant to trust Drs. or medicines to be honest) told me that he found something in my bloodwork that he thinks is causing all of this mayhem in my body. He said that in my blood there is something similar to Lupus antibodies that is causing my blood to thicken and he thinks it caused the 2 mini strokes i had 7 years ago, and he thinks it is what is causing the swelling, pain, and inability for my knee joint to function properly. He thinks it is an autoimmune disorder. Which is why i told you this whole long story lol. The Dr. told me this just a few days prior to you writing about- an autoimmune disorder in “Who has the last word.” When i read that post it gave me great peace because i felt like that was a word for me, that the Lord knows im going through this! Then when i woke up this morning and was hearing,”unto what were you baptized then.” And then low and behold you completely confirmed the exact thing for me when you wrote me yesterday! And the Lord knew i wouldn’t see it until this morning!! He is sooo great!!!! Im not going to lie ive fought for a long time to gain the ground and revelation, but this situation and not being able to walk has broken me and i have been crying out for His help and presence and having been in despair at times! Which is why i wrote you and asked you about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit again! I have this hope in me that when i am filled with His Spirit all of the manifestations that the enemy is trying to bring upon me will flee away!! I sort of feel like the enemy knows i am close to my hearts desire, which is Christ in me, so hes tried to throw everything he can at me. But i feel like when the Lord arises, his enemies are scattered!!! So receiving this confirmation this morning gives me more hope than i could ever put into words! It is like a shot of resurrection power to my spirit that he is more than aware of my situation and he has me right where he wants me! Thank you soo much for your attentive ear and your work in the body of Christ! I always feel bad for writing you novels but i wanted to testify to this so that you could share my excitement!! Im actually still kind of shocked that-that just happened, that it was confirmed so quickly!!! I guess maybe thats a word of wisdom, word of knowledge, or maybe prophecy. But regardless thank you sooo much!!! : )

          Thank you Jesus! Praise Father, Son and Holy Spirit!!!!!!! That is AWESOME Justin! It is so inspiring and encouraging when we get confirmation! Our Father loves you so much!           Abba Father says, “Justin arise!” You are so close to your breakthrough; you must have some amazing things to do for and with God considering the pushback from the enemy! “it is always darkest before the dawn” Arise, shine; for your light has come and the glory of Christ is rising upon you! God can and WILL show his glory through what the world thinks is impossible but we know it is totally and assuredly POSSIBLE with our all-Loving Father for his glory!

          I had a dream this morning, seeing the laying of hands and men being healed and I saw a staircase from heaven down to the ocean and the TIDE TURNED and the current, the water started flowing up the stairs toward heaven! Take it! “The Spirit and Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires TAKE the water of life without price” Revelation 22:17
          Lay hands on your body with the intention of Christ Jesus’ hands on top of yours, and in faith through grace TAKE the Great Physician’s healing waters and let Holy Spirit turn your body’s water to heaven’s healing waters of grace and glory! Remember the story of the man who laid by the water but when the angels came and stirred it up (healing presence) he couldn’t get in the water; maybe the dream is saying the angels have come down and are stirring up the waters in bodies and turning the tide to heavenly glory, healing currents, currently present to heal the body of Christ!

          Abba Father, I thank you for Justin! Pour your spirit upon all his flesh! Give him dreams, vision and prophesy! Pour your love into his heart by the Holy Spirit! Lord Jesus Christ, touch him so he may have healing and wholeness of his body and soul and spirit! Turn the tide within him and raise him to Yourself to be sanctified wholly spirit and soul and body! Father, we thank you for your shalom in Justin: nothing missing, nothing broken, complete, whole, healed, delivered and set free in Your glory!!!!!!! Let your glorious light fill Justin’s heart and circulate to every cell so Your glory can cover all his body water in The Name above every name, The Word of God, Faithful and True, the King of kings and Lord of lords and His Father and God! Amen. Hallelujah!

          Thank you Father for healing Justin and making manifest the deepest desire of his heart! “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life…a desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul” (Proverbs 13:12,19). Thank you for fulfilling Justin’s heart desire, Abba Father! We LOVE you!!!!!!!

I totally agree, a few of the people i fellowship with and wait on the Lord with locally are also going through very difficult circumstances at the same exact time, but i ive felt like in my spirit that “judgement begins with the house of God,” and that he is purifying vessels(us) here to hold more of His glory!! I know he chastens and disciplines us as sons and daughters, and although ive always had a sincere heart to bring healing and miracles to those who are hurting and down trodden, the more i have walked in these conditions myself personally, the more my heart can comprehend and understand the fear and loneliness those who do not know Christ must feel while enduring their suffering and physical ailments. The momentary light affliction has been producing long suffering and compassion in me in amounts greater than my own self could produce. So i totally agree with your dream that the Lord is “stirring up the waters in bodies and turning the tide to heavenly glory, healing currents, currently present to heal the body of Christ.” HEALING IS THE CHILDRENS BREAD!!!! Thank you LORD!!! So i agree Lord send us your healing waters and your manifest presence! Suddenly he will come to His temple!!

Thank you for the fighting and wrestling you do in the Spirit as well!! I am so grateful to have sisters and brothers in the Lord like you and the many others who fellowship here on your page!!
