I never promised you a rose garden…

I never promised you a rose garden…

I promised you a new heaven and a new earth!

You enter the unknown with the One you know!

The One you can know is Christ Jesus, the exact image of the Father!

Thank God!

“He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities–all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross” Colossians :15-20

“See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness of life in him” Colossians 2:8-10

In Christ you have fullness of life, a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells! “For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell” and NOW all the fullness of God wants to dwell in you! let Him!

Do you not know that you are to be the new temple of God? Have you been reconciled and made peace?

    Yes,
    He did and does it all for the likes of us.
    From a worm I was, to a butterfly I become.

    He DID promise me a couple roses though! I understand we’re supposed to keep our eye focused steadfastly on the kingdom of Heaven instead of the rose garden, but I still hope to visit a rose garden on the new earth, if that makes any sense… Meanwhile, I know, I know, I should stop dreaming my days up and just relax and trust the Lord. Please give me Peace and Faith in Your Will Abba Father. Amen.

      yes, peace and faith!

      The “rose garden” of our heart contains blossoms AND thorns; satan’s tree has knowledge of both good and evil and he offers the “good” to tempt us and we receive his evil mixed in.
      But when we give Jesus the old heart seated in the world, we receive Christ’s heart seated in heavenly places so we can have his tree of life in the center of our heart in the innermost spirit man river, receiving his risen, glorified Spirit to water a new garden in our heart containing only the fragrance of Christ without the thorns! He took the thorns so we could have the blossoms! He gave his life so we could have his risen Life now and forever and ever and ever! Hallelujah!!!!!!!

      Instead of “a rose” we arise daily and are renewed in His Spirit of Life!

      “Blessed is he who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when the heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit” Jeremiah 17: 7

      “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers” Psalm 1:3

      The Spirit and Bride say come take the water!
      “The river of water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, through the middle of our reborn body, the new city of God, and on either side the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree for healing” Revelation 22:1-17

      Instead of a rose garden we are Christ fruit bearing trees of life! leafy, fruity branches of his Vine! Christ promised us His Life! take it!
      Christ’s fragrance is even better than roses, better than anything created in heaven or on earth! To God be the glory!

        Yes, the garden of our heart must be tended to from the highest heavens so it only yields His best fruits! Adam and Eve were thrown out of Eden because they threw God out of their hearts and became ruled by Satan instead, but it is the Lord’s good will to forgive us and repair our mistake, uprooting and burning the weeds and thorns we allowed to grow in our souls, and replacing them with His divine seed, watered by the holy spirit and blossoming into pure Love, Peace and Joy! Amen!

  4. Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee,
    God of glory, Lord of love;
    Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee,
    Op’ning to the sun above.
    Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
    Drive the dark of doubt away;
    Giver of immortal gladness,
    Fill us with the light of day!
    All Thy works with joy surround Thee,
    Earth and heav’n reflect Thy rays,
    Stars and angels sing around Thee,
    Center of unbroken praise.
    Field and forest, vale and mountain,
    Flow’ry meadow, flashing sea,
    Singing bird and flowing fountain
    Call us to rejoice in Thee.
    Thou art giving and forgiving,
    Ever blessing, ever blest,
    Wellspring of the joy of living,
    Ocean depth of happy rest!
    Thou our Father, Christ our Brother,
    All who live in love are Thine;
    Teach us how to love each other,
    Lift us to the joy divine.
    Mortals, join the happy chorus,
    Which the morning stars began;
    Father love is reigning o’er us,
    Brother love binds man to man.
    Ever singing, march we onward,
    Victors in the midst of strife,
    Joyful music leads us Sunward
    In the triumph song of life. ~Henry J. van Dyke (1907)
