“Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk; nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]” Psalm 1:1-3 AMPC
“Then He showed me the river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the Throne of God and of the Lamb. Through the middle of the broadway of the city; also, on either side of the river was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and the restoration of the nations” Revelation 22:1-2 AMPC
“The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians), say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever earnestly desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate and drink the water of Life without cost” 22:17 AMPC
“Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, “If any man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! He who believes in me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.’ But he was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified” ~Jesus in John 7:37-39 AMPC
Jesus is now glorified so we can come to Him and drink and be filled to overflow from the fountain of Christ in the born again believer’s innermost spirit man; established, maintained, sustained, kept by the Holy Spirit! a fountain of perfect, holy, pure Blood, Water and Spirit of the Living God Almighty! thank you Jesus!
