Make White

Rare sightings of pure white animals have peaked my curiosity lately. (http://news.discovery.com/animals/rare-albino-hummingbird-120127.html). In England a rare white stag has been photographed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2040472/Rare-sighting-white-stag-spotted-Dartmoor.html Lately there have been several great white shark sightings in San Diego, a once rare event. What is up with all the white?

White is associated with newness, passages, initiation, awakening, nourishment, purity, illumination, or the sum of all colors: God’s radiance, pearl of great price, milk, purity of attention, pristine snow. There is something sacred and holy about the hush and beauty of newly fallen snow illumined in the sunlight. Purity of attention, or presence, is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself or others. Pure Presence is rare, precious, mystical and will be increasingly possible as more and more are awakening.

Another rare event is seeing a white lion. Legends proclaim that white lions have magical powers: http://www.responsibletravel.com/copy/white-lions-guardians-of-africas-gold

The legend of the white calf and buffalo woman have been equated with Jesus and the Virgin Mary, and a sign of the coming of the new age of peace and prosperity in the Lakota tradition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Buffalo_Calf_Woman

Apocalypse has been wrongly attributed to a disaster or cataclysmic event instead of the true meaning: “to reveal”. Making space for God to reveal the new requires us to empty, let go, surrender, relax, simplify, slow down, be still and silent, and pay attention. To prepare us for the great reveal, we are going through shifts and changes that many times can be quite unsettling or painful. In Daniel chapters eleven and twelve we find this: “Some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine and to cleanse them and to make them white, until the time of the end” (Daniel 11:35). “And many of those who sleep..shall awake… and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament” (12:2-3). “Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined” (12:10).

We are living in unprecedented times. We are all being called to let go of everything that is no longer serving our highest good or the highest good of all. Do not think it is strange when seemingly negative events arise in your experience. Negative situations are not happening to you, they are happening FOR you (August Gold) to refine, purify or help you awaken or rise in awareness. Only that which is not of the highest good is being stripped away. What are you being stripped of now: jobs, homes, relationships, money, security, status, familiarity, or beliefs?

Like the white lotus that grows up out of the mud and muck at the bottom of the pond, we are being called to rise out of the muck in our lives. We have to let go for the new to come forward. We have to let go of control for the highest good to come. We are being called to cleanse, refine, and make white. We have to endure the losses, pain, frustration and irritations to allow the pearl of great price to be revealed.

It is the time to purify, refine and make white until the time of the end. It is time to let go, surrender, and give up resistance.

Transformation can be scary. Transmutation can be painful until we surrender to the inevitable. We can go willingly and flow with the current, or we can resist and endure the suffering of trying to swim against the tide. Resistance causes us to fatigue very quickly. If caught in a rip tide, if you relax and go with the unknown, eventually you will be in smooth waters again and you can swim to a new shore.

The wise thing to do is recognize that nothing is permanent, and that something is not taken away unless something greater is waiting to be revealed. We can hold our breath, but eventually we will be forced to take a new one. We are being called to let go of the known to allow the greater unknown to be revealed and manifested on earth.

The key is to relax your body, let go of tension and rigidly holding on, go within for answers, and take yourself lightly in the transition period.

Take good care of yourself. Eat whole, nutritious foods like nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables. Tune into the deepest wisdom of your body and ask what food will nourish and nurture you the most. Drink plenty of water from the highest source possible. Move your body in whatever way it is longing for, whether it is dancing, yoga, qigong, exercise, running, hiking, or allowing spontaneous movement to arise from within. Tune into a sense of ease and flow.

Expand your consciousness by opening up to a higher view through meditation or reading inspired sacred literature. Listen to beautiful music. Bring flowers home or find a way to beautify your environment. Find out what you love, what makes you happy, what nurtures and nourishes your soul and make it a regular practice. Take mindful baths or float in a pool, or better yet the ocean.

Self care is important. Self compassion is important. Kaitlyn Keyt said, “You have never, ever done anything wrong. You have never been wrong.” She teaches that we are all merely experiencing what we came here to heal and make whole. Your adversary is really the one who you made a pre-birth contract with to help you master yourself. There is no reason to forgive yourself because you have done nothing wrong. There are no mistakes. It is all for love, expansion and a return to oneness and wholeness. Self love is the most important. “I will show you a still more excellent way: Love” (1 Cor 12:31). In filling with Love you will be able to give it to others.

Dolphins and whales are thought to be animals with higher consciousness than human beings. Reflect on things that are unlimited, or represent infinite possibilites. Start or maintain spiritual practices: prayer, meditation, sacred reading, spiritual community, communal worship, or spend extra time in nature. Gaze at the blue sky or dark starry sky. Reflect on the moon, planets, galaxies, or infinite cosmos. Turn towards God within your heart. Open to receive the hidden spiritual gifts. “Earnestly desire the higher gifts” 1 Corinthians 12:31.

Find the beauty, truth and goodness within all things. The end of the old is the new beginning of our consciousness flowing with milk and honey in the promised land. We need to allow ourselves to be filled with the white light of God and arrayed in the white rainment of Christ. God is white radiance containing all the colors of the rainbow. “Christ’s head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow” (Revelation 1:14). Make White by allowing the purification or cleansing with the living water from above. “Purge me and I will be clean; wash me and I will be whiter than snow” (Psalm 51:7). Allow the water of Spirit to remove the internal obstructions and blockages. Allow the transmuting fire to melt the barriers to love. Do not resist the fire that comes to burn away the impurities. “Purify me Christ as you are pure” (1 John 3:3). To be pure is to be simple, refined, unalloyed, and one with God. The fire of challenges burns away the obstacles to entering the garden.

Let go of the past. Surrender all to allow the new to manifest in your body and life. We must let go of the old to allow the new wine of transformation to be poured into the new wineskins of our body. It is no longer possible to patch our old garment with new material. We must get completely naked, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually to be clothed in the new snow-light garment that contains all the colors of the rainbow and the new colors of the new heaven on earth in luminescent numinous radiance. “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).
