Truth Trumps Facts!

Facts are objective, physical things that can be observed by our physical senses. However, there is a higher knowing that goes beyond our physical five senses. Rational, logical knowing comes from seeing with our eyes, testing theories with scientific empiricism, hearing with our ears, tasting with our mouth, sensing with our touch, or smelling with our nose. We have two eyes and two ears so what we see or hear seem to have greater weight in the physical world of perception. However, there is a higher knowing when we begin to perceive with our heart, our gut, our intuition, a body felt-sense such as tingles, flow or electricity or warmth, and spiritual perception: knowing we know but not knowing how we know!!!

The Spirit of Truth is the highest way of knowing. While we may have physical facts such as it looks like we are standing still on the earth, the truth is the surface of the earth at the equator is hurtling through space at 1000 miles per hour and 67,000 miles an hour around the sun (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-fast-is-the-earth-mov/). In the same manner, we cannot know the scale of something until we can put it into right perspective.

Life is precious on all scales and the giant sequoia is majestic,  yet the Tree of Life is far beyond anything we could imagine! Our physical sight is trumped by spiritual sight always! Jesus said, “Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment” John 7:24. Only the eyes of the Spirit can give you the Truth beyond facts!

“If with Christ we died to the elemental spirits of the universe, why do you live as if you still belong to the world…according to human precepts and doctrines? These have indeed an appearance of wisdom…but they are of no value…since we have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above…set your minds on things that are above…Christ is our life” Colossians 2:20-3:1-4

When we are able to open and receive the Higher Perspective of God beyond physical facts, the eyes and ears of our heart are enlightened by the Light of Christ and we are able to put the physical world into perspective. There is so much more than the physical level! We can begin to see with the Higher View of God. “Christ raised us up with him and made us sit with him in the heavenly places” Ephesians 2:6. Therefore, look at things from the heavenly, higher, spiritual perception; not looking up from earth at how we want things to be; but look down from heaven to earth and call into existence what does not yet exist!!!!

We can begin to see with the eyes of Christ. We can begin to see with the eyes of Divine Love. We can begin to discern with the Spirit of Truth. We can begin to see through new eyes as we are perfectly one with God (John 17:22-23). We can begin to see the seed of wholeness, and in seeing it, bring it into fruition. We can begin to see the world as God sees it: the new heaven on earth! We can begin to see human being’s destiny (to be Christ-like) and draw it forth. We can begin to see the spark of God’s Light in individuals and in seeing it fan the flames until it is burning brightly for all to see!

If a physical symptom manifests, we can replace the fact with the Truth of wholeness, health, and well-being by shining the Light of God’s Awareness on the issue. Spiritual Truth always trumps physical facts! A thought of fear brought to the Light of God’s Truth will melt into nothingness. A feeling of sadness brought into the Love of God transmutes into peace. A feeling of uneasiness brought to the Presence of God morphs into Joy! It doesn’t matter what the thought, feeling or sensation is, when the Light of Love shines upon it, and it is absorbed into the Perfection and Wholeness of God’s Presence, it will transform into love, peace, joy, harmony, beauty, freedom, wholeness and perfect oneness.

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which comes upon you to prove you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in so far as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you…cast all your anxieties on God, for he cares about you…and after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, settle, establish, and strengthen you. To him be the dominion for ever and ever” 1 Peter 4:12-14, 7-11

A human mind united with God’s Perfect Mind means the imperfect must pass away! When we put on the Mind of Christ, we receive the perfect Life of the risen/ascended Christ Jesus. We receive his Perfect Life and Life Abundant: Light without darkness, Love without opposite, perfect peace that surpasses understanding, and Jesus’ fullness of Joy. We receive all the fullness of God into our physical body for the asking and receiving when we believe in our hearts that God is who he says he is and we are his child! Truth trumps facts!

“Count it all joy when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” James 1:2-4

“The presence of God gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist…do not let distrust make us waver concerning the promises of God, but grow strong in faith as we give glory to God, fully convinced that God is able to do what he has promised” Romans 4:16-22

Begin to experience the knowing beyond physical knowing and the power of the kingdom of God!!!! Instead of more words, receive the Power of God. Instead of getting more information, be transformed by the renewal of your mind in Christ. Instead of religion, have an intimate relationship with God. Instead of fear, receive the power, love and sound mind of Christ which is the kingdom of God. Instead of physical facts, ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth. Instead of resigning yourself to circumstances, ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth of what God has in store for you. Instead of believing what the world says about you, let God show you the truth. Instead of believing physical facts, let God show you the Higher Truth! Rise to your destiny of greater and greater goodness!
