Does “Father” Mean God is Masculine?

Many mistake the word Father for gender, when Jesus was showing us that Father is a relationship. The new thing that Jesus brought to this earth was the truth that we could have a relationship with the infinite Most High, as intimate as a child with a Loving Father. The new thing that Jesus brought was beyond religion, it was a relationship with the Source of life!

When we receive Jesus into our body, soul and spirit, we are reconnected with Father God. We become one body and one Spirit with God through our reconciled relationship with Jesus’ Father. Jesus came to show us God as Father and return God’s children to him! We become one body and one Spirit with Jesus and we receive the exact same relationship Jesus has with his Father, his God.

“Jesus said to her, ‘Mary.’ She turned and said to him in Hebrew, ‘Rabboni!’ (which means Teacher). Jesus said to her, ‘Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” John 20:16-18

Because Jesus conquered this world and ascended to God, he can conquer the world in us and lift us up to where he is! We can be one with him and his Father on earth as it is in heaven! The two can become one: Christ and you, and then you can become one with his Father God!

“In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me and I am in you” John 14:20

When we become one body and one Spirit with Jesus, who is in the Father’s Heart as a son, we enter the Father’s Heart as well. We abide in God and God abides in us. We are returned to our True Home in the bosom of God, in the field of God, as the building of God, as the son of God, as the bride of God, as the beloved of God, as the temple of God!

This revelation cannot be achieved by the mind; it can only be encountered and experienced by the heart or it is just an intellectual concept. Transformation is attained by the experience of Father’s Love in our heart. The same Love and Identity and Spirit that allowed Jesus to do miracles, raise the dead, heal the sick and set people free can be in us! O taste and see!

Yes, the Father is divine, not human, and everyone knows that “father” is a role and not a gender. So, if Jesus Christ is the model for our bodily resurrection on the last day, and He was resurrected with His gender in tact, though His body is in a glorified state, what does that mean for gender and their associated roles in Heaven?

    • Thank you for your comment Francis! He was resurrected and appeared in “many forms” so that even his closest followers did not recognize him at first. He also resurrected into a formless state that could move through walls as spirit. When Jesus ascended back to the Father, we know that he is called the Lamb of God, yet we know that he has not become a literal animal. While I do not claim to know all the answers, no human being can claim that, I do know that the Holy Spirit can teach us all that Jesus revealed so we can have understanding. If Jesus said we should rejoice that he was leaving the earth so we could receive the Holy Spirit to live in us forever, and we know that the Spirit of God in us is neither Jew nor Greek, neither male nor female, then we can know that our Heavenly Father is neither male nor female, neither Jew nor Greek, but the Source of life, and our deepest and highest relationship as Father and Husband, meaning he is neither male nor female. Our Father God is our Real Father and our Real Husband! “And on that day, says the Lord, you will call me, ‘My Husband’ and no longer will you call me, ‘My Ba al’ And I will make for you a covenant…and I will betroth you to me forever” Hosea 2:16-23. May God bless you!

  3. We are spiritual beings, not physical beings trying to be spirit filled. We are spiritual beings, not literal, physical beings trying to be good. After Christ ascended and we receive the Holy Spirit, we are like Jesus: filled with all the fullness of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with all the dunamis power and exousia authority of God. After we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the full Spirit of God and his Lamb, we are made in the likeness of Christ.

We are spiritual beings who possess a soul (mind, emotions, and will) and live in physical bodies. We are not our bodies! We are spirit with the same consciousness/awareness of God who is Spirit and Truth. We are not male or female; we are spiritual beings who live IN a body that is physically male or female. We are not our physical body! Our body, whether male or female in gender, is the temple for the Holy Spirit who is beyond gender!

Our soul is feminine, meaning it is inward, within, inside our body; we possess a mind, emotions and a will but we are not our soul! Our spirit is our deepest inner being; it is our spirit that is always connected to Father God even though we forget or separate in our thoughts or not feel it every moment of every day. “I will never leave or forsake you” “I am with you always”

Our spirit is our true identity and when we consciously reconnect with the Spirit of God, we awaken to our true being! We are not Adams, we are Jesus’!!!! We are not Americans or Canadians or Israelis; we are citizens of heaven on earth; royal sons and daughters of the King living in the Kingdom of God! We are Jews, containing the oracles of God, the chosen ones, no matter what our external religion if we believe Jesus’ revelations. “For he is not a real Jew who is one outwardly, nor is true circumcision something external and physical. He is a Jew who is one inwardly, and real circumcision is a MATTER OF THE HEART, spiritual and NOT LITERAL” Romans 2:28-29.

We are no longer male or female, Greek or Jew or Roman or American or an Israelite in Christ Jesus!!!! “For in Christ Jesus you are ALL sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have PUT ON CHRIST. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male nor female; for you are ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS” Galatians 3:26.

We are no longer an Adam; we are forever more a Jesus if we put on his garment, his baptism, his salvation, his anointing, his righteousness, his holiness, his perfection, his Father, his God, his glory, his grace and his faith. We wear him like a garment and he is in the Father, thus we are in the Father as well and we are perfectly one: not male or female, not Greek or Jew or Roman or American, but perfectly one with our Abba Father. We are kings, priests, sons, and brides to our Father and God, living in the kingdom of heaven on earth as royal children, coheirs to all the fullness of God and all his promises fulfilled!

Bless you Yvonne – only God may reveal this to us. This is the Truth, not man made, but God made. Manmade churches will vilify this, but it is Truth.

      • God bless you Christine! I read something yesterday that said if it is truth it will set you free. If it is not truth you will not be set free by hearing it! Here is to Freedom in every area of our lives! Free to Love, not fettered by religion, but free in the Arms of the Source of Love, our One Real Father!
