The Rush to Wound the Feminine

When really strange things happen to me I especially pay attention and take note. I have found that unusual occurrances are usually divine messages trying to get my full attention. I have been having very strange symptoms in my arms and feet lately. I have been exploring the symptoms and have been guided to do a lot of healing work on feminine wounding going all the way back to the beginning of time.

As life can imitate what is going on in the collective, I have also been seeing many women hospitalized with diseases of the feminine organ s or histories of sexual abuse that have contributed to their life-threatening illnesses. The feminine has been wounded in both men and women and is in need of healing and wholeness. Rush Limbaugh’s rush to attack, judge, denigrate and humiliate law student Sandra Fluke on Wednesday has gone way too far. Limbaugh called Sandra  a slut, a prostitute, and asked her to send him a sex tape for her stance on birth control. Yesterday I remembered that I owned two goddess figures, although I hadn’t seen them for a long time. The first one I discovered under the sink in the bathroom as I was looking for something else. To my shock, the arms were all chipped and damaged. I later went into my office to find something on my desk and heard a strange noise. Upon searching for the origin of the sound I found the other goddess figure, also broken with the “feet” or bottom of the glass completely broken off. Both figures were “wounded”. I immediately connected the symptoms I was having with the “damage” to the figurines. Yesterday, a facebook friend also reposted this photo as she wrote “facebook timeline cut half of the photo off” Coincidence? I believe there are no “accidents” and synchronicity (Carl Jung) was afoot! (notice another metaphor!) I immediately connected the multiple messages, symbols, metaphors, symptoms, patients, internet stories and wounded goddess figurines to the deep wounding of the feminine. At the same time I remembered that I also used to have a statue of Venus with no arms but somehow it disappeared! My radar got very attuned and intense all of a sudden… Yesterday I returned from the strangest walk on the beach I have ever had, so I became even more attentive, sensitive and alert to inner and outer messages. Religious wounding of the feminine is deeply connected and may be one of the root causes of our societal ills and rates of cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Mary Magdalene was an example of the wounding of the feminine as she was denigrated and humiliated by the church by being labeled as a prostitute. She was often painted naked and in sexual poses. Mother Mary on the other hand was de-sexualized, “virginized” and venerated.  The feminine archetypes were polarized, divided into good and bad, and the Madonna/whore duality was born. This split has caused a lot of marital conflict and most likely led to an increase in pornography and prostitutes outside the marriage, while the wife was Mother Mary-ized. Sexuality and spirituality were separated. Life force energy was separated from God. The feminine was separated from the Spirit of God.

Although the Catholic church admitted the error in the 1960’s, many churches in all denominations continue to spread the lie. When the hidden gospels (Gospel of Mary, Gospel of Philip, Gospel of Thomas) were found, it was revealed that Mary was actually the “apostle to the apostles”, and taught the disciples after Jesus’ ascension. Yeshua revealed things to Mary that were not revealed to the male disciples. Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus before his death for his burial (the feminine anointed the masculine to make them a King in ancient times), and Mary Magdalene accompanied him in death and his descent to hell in the three days before he resurrected (see Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault’s The Meaning of Mary Magdalene: Discovering the woman at the heart of Christianity). Mary was the hidden, inner Life force energy that accompanied Yeshua in death, descent, resurrection and ascension. Mary Magdalene was the first person Christ revealed himself to and called to reveal the resurrection to the male disciples. She was the one heart and life of Yeshua. Sexual denigration and abuse has been rampant since antiquity. It has reached a crisis point now as statistics say 1 in 4 women are sexually abused. 60% of sexual abuse is still hidden and never reported. I recently listened for over two hours to one of the most horrific stories I have ever heard of childhood sexual abuse, its ugly reenactments throughout her life and its final manifestation in a terminal illness. Most women who are abused as a child end up having several reenactments throughout their adulthood. The body is attempting to heal by bringing it up again and again to conscious awareness, but most people don’t get the message and they just continue on a downward spiral into further shame, guilt, worthlessness, hopelessness or depression; eventually leading to a manifestation of disease. If one in four women are sexually abused before age 18, I wonder what the statistics are for hospitalized women? My hypothesis is very high, if not all, especially if the disease is in or associated with the female organs. The spirit of error has been in charge on earth for too long and it is time for the Light of the Spirit of Truth to come forth. Spirit shine your light in the darkness and expose the hidden darkness. “And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But she who does what is true comes to the light, that it may be clearly seen that her deeds have been wrought in God” John 3:19-21 It is time for the Holy Spirit to blow the winds of change to remove from the earth the judgment against women starting from the garden of Eden. A kabbalistic speaker was giving an explanation of the Eve story concluding that she was only fulfilling her mission from God to bring human beings to self-consciousness and the knowledge of good and evil. The deeper purpose was for humanity to expand and grow; for God to experience more of itself in creation.

Through the human experience, God was able to express more of the infinite being in the full range of manifestation of feeling, tasting, touching, relating, seeing, hearing, and sensing. The feminine is the life force energy of creativity and rebirth; the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God. The goal for the human soul is to evolve from duality and separation back to nondual oneness and wholeness; to eventually wake up to God-consciousness and return to the tree of life in the garden of the new heaven on earth. The tree of life is balanced branches with roots, transcendence with immanence, and feminine with masculine.

The goal is remembering our true nature and waking up to being both fully human and fully god as Yeshua showed by example. The goal is to be the full embodiment of the Presence of God while in a human body, capable of feeling, experiencing, relating, loving and creating beauty, goodness and infinite life! None of us can fulfill our mission on earth without the feminine; without the feminine we cannot return to wholeness, oneness and freedom. God created women and men in the image and likeness of God. God declared human beings “very good”. What God created for good, let no man judge as evil, wrong, bad, mistaken or unworthy. There are two creation stories in Genesis. In the first humans were created in the image and likeness of God, “made in our likeness, male and female”. In the second, the woman was taken out of the side of the man and God breathed life into the dust creation. The esoteric teachings of Kabbalah describe the event as not what meets the eye. The deeper mystical meaning may be reflected in the painting of the creation of Adam where Eve is God’s Bride, with his arm around her. Venus or Aphrodite is shown being birthed from the sea, the fluid, flowing, infinite ocean of love. The revelation of the mystery of the gospel may be Christ as the feminine, hidden, inner Spirit; the Holy Spirit as the feminine, indwelling Presence and Power of God, and Yeshua teaching by example that the outward appearance of masculinity hides the inner feminine life force energy that is needed in both men and women for creative, novel solutions and birthing our new world. Yeshua died as a male body and was resurrected and ascended in consciousness to return as the feminine Spirit of God.

“And the Spirit and the Bride say’ Come’…and let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price” Rev 22:17 The rejected, unwanted, disowned, denigrated, discarded, disgraced, abused, tortured, humiliated, disregarded, ignored, neglected, burned, suppressed and repressed feminine must be restored in our world to her true glory. The power of the feminine is the missing link in our societal ills. The negative beliefs and thoughts concerning the feminine nature must be transmuted, transformed and transfigured into the real, true, living embodiment of God in feminine form. Cooperation, compassion, empathy, intuition, wisdom, healing, arts, creativity, birthing, nurturing, nourishing, gentleness, kindness, love, peace, healthy connections and relationships are all feminine qualities. They are also qualities that Yeshua HaMashiach exhibited.

Many were disappointed and rejected Jesus when he didn’t go to war in a revolution by battling the ruling Romans. They rejected him and left when he spoke of the hidden inner kingdom. They shook their heads and judged when he treated women with respect and love. They accused him of working with the devil when he didn’t follow the religious laws, rules and dogma. He was accused of blasphemy when he said he was a son of God. He was accused of sin when he healed on the sabbath. He was tortured, mocked, beaten and killed for exhibiting the true power of God that differed from the religious teachings. He hung out with prostitutes, outcasts, and sinners saying “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick” (Matthew 9:12; Mark 2:17; Luke 5:31).
We are all in a critical developmental stage; unfolding, opening, and given an opportunity for further spiritual growth for both sexes right now. The inner feminine in men is the life force energy, the vitality, fullness, and immanence of the Spirit of God. Men are generally the transcendent, empty, still, silent, protective, providers or container of external doing, and the deep, still waters of the ocean. Women are the immanent, fullness, filling of the container, wild, raw life force energy, movement, flow, motion, blood of life, and the waves of pleasure, beauty and delight in the ocean of love. “I am daily delight” (Proverbs 8:30).To be whole we need to awaken to the entire ocean of our being.

“Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a custodian; for in Christ you are all sons of God…have put on Christ. There is neither Jew or Greek, there is neither slave or free, there is neither male or female; for you are all one in Christ” Galatians 3:25-29

When the woman was accused of adultery and was about to be stoned to death, Yeshua HaMashiach got down in the dirt and started writing something. He said those who had never sinned or made a mistake or missed the mark (in aramaic sin was “unripe”) should throw the first stone. One by one they put down their stones of judgment and walked away. What did Yeshua write in the dirt? Yeshua talked with the samaritan woman at the well. In Jesus’ day rabbis did not talk to women and Jews despised samaritans and would not speak to them. Yeshua came to cancel the sexism, racism, bigotry, partiality and discrimination. He knew everything about her less-than-perfect life and offered her Living Water so she would never lack for anything or be limited ever again. He told the disciples when they marveled that he was talking to a woman that he had food that they knew nothing about. Could he have meant the hidden, inner feminine life force energy and the Living Water from the feminine Spirit? Yeshua was totally, unconditionally loving and unconditionally accepting. He was compassionate and gave the free gift of Grace (feminine name? no coincidences!) to all. Yeshua said that the time would come when all must worship God as Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-33). Yeshua said that even the Father seeks to worship the Spirit. The Spirit of God is the feminine of God. The Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God (1 Cor 2:10). Christ was described as the morning star that would rise in our hearts. “We have the prophetic word made more sure. You will do well to pay attention to this as a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19). Venus is also described as the morning star and the goddess of love!

Yeshua was born of a woman. Yeshua treated women completely differently than the holy, religious leaders of his religion, Judaism. Women supported Yeshua’s ministry financially and emotionally. Yeshua was the incarnation of the feminine Spirit of God into a human male body. The Christ Spirit within him was feminine. In Hebrew and Aramaic, the language that Yeshua spoke, Spirit is feminine. It is time for the spirit of error to be replaced with the Spirit of Truth. Marija Gimbutas reported that in archeological excavations most goddess figures that were found were destroyed or thrown away (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marija_Gimbutas). When the feminine is thrown away, wounded and suppressed, the world is out of balance and the life force energy, the vitality, fullness, juiciness, delight, love, cooperation and peace is destroyed. It is time for the return of the feminine to its full glory. “I came that you might have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Here is to the abundant life that we all may have if we heal and make whole the feminine, which in turn will heal and make whole the masculine. Yeshua prayed to the Father “That you may all be one” (John 17:21).

And God is always there, if you feel wounded. He kneels
over this earth like
a divine medic,
and His love thaws
the holy in us.
